Right now it's pretty much over. The attitude of the campaign has shifted to try to undo that, rather than prevent it.

azkero - for now the show is finished production, but we never know. There is talk of a possible comic book and/or cartoon, which may help us keep hope alive for a return of the show. Right now it's pretty much over. The attitude of the campaign has shifted to try to undo that, rather than prevent it. I kinda feel like we're in a holding pattern regarding a potential comic book / cartoon and I'd like to kick out of it. Any suggestions?

so :/ it's not a good answer i want to see more Reaper... i hope that's not finish by the way who can give me link to official communication that is finish ? or they didin't tell us this yet ? a good idea to make an animation(manga can be?) ... give it to the internet and make a good advert, it would be well if you put that all episodes on this site, and create new animations or short book, but......... who cares? since it does not give us the assurance that Reaper will return?

I doubt we'll ever hear an official anything. I think ABC is just kinda hoping we go away.

elo it's me again ;] I've heard that production is to be continued, but it isn't known whether the right to redeem if the purchase is a different TV than the CW, then for example ABC will surely bring a new two seasons, but the good news in bad such that it will be the third season. I hope it's true;] I hope that you understand sorry for my language

Mark Gordon Productions owns Reaper. They can contract it to whoever wants to produce it - which *was* ABC Studios. So, the biggest thing needed is to find someone who wants to produce the show - and then kick them into gear to *sell* the show to a network that will air it.

Interesting quote from Greencastle, from only a couple of days ago: The rest of the article seems a month off, so I'm wondering if the above comment is too.

For all we know he could have written it earlier and has just had time to post it recently. It is the only source that I've seen recently that shows that they are still looking at syndication as a good and plausible option.

Wasn't sure where to put this one. MSN is running a "you vote" for Emmy Awards. Right now Reaper is 10th on the "Comedy Show" list. If anyone would like to vote, here is the site: www.tv.com/story/15650.htmlLet's get Reaper noticed for an Emmy. You only have two days to vote.

I was just thinking (and I'll preface my remarks by saying that the rumored animation and/or comic book would be nice, to resolve the story, but not as satisfying as having the great actors doing the show itself again). I know that we've all put a lot of effort into the various campaigns to save Reaper for a third saeson. My question is ... do we have anyone at ABC Studios that we could contact to see if they are even considering attempting to do anything more with Reaper ... maybe next year (after Missy's and Tyler's shows fail), or are they done with it and no longer are considering pursuing trying to revive the show elsewhere. Also, at one point we seemed to be in contact with Tara or Michele. Is there any chance of reviving that contact to see if we are "barking up the right tree" with our efforts to renew the show. Specifically, what I am wondering: if ABC Studios is no longer pursuing anything related to the series, do the rights for the show stay with them, or do they revert back to Tara and Michele at some point and allow them to pursue other avenues (maybe on Fox) to revive the show?

Exactly, wdpender, and nice to see you, by the way! I'm rejuvenated on our plan to:
1) Contact Tara Butters to see if she can see any hope or possibility for Reaper to live again, especially if they still have the rights, might they revive it at Fox, or with Joss Whedon and Mutant Enemy, now that Tara and Michelle are working on Dollhouse.
2) Contact Mark Gordon, ditto.
Plus we have some promotional materials to figure out how to use, might go to a Con, and still have the receipts campaign going. That, or if we use the promo campaign to build out Twitter following (for example) might be ammunition to take to Mark Gordon, and Butters/Fazekas, to encourage them to keep the concept alive!
