Yh! No region too i looked on loads of websites but nothing but season one! you guys are sooooo lucky! when i said that the disk would not play, i went into setting i think, then DVD settings. You could change it to loads of things. However you are only alowed to change the DVD settings 3 times, when that happens thats it no more! That is really annoying, but i think that is ho you do it. When i played it it came upi with an error messge saying, "I'm sorry this region ill not play in you computer" then there is a button you click on when the error message comes up and that when it gets you on to settings that how it worked for me hope that helps!

Only three times? Wow, that sucks. I know there is freeware you can download to change it unlimited times but I'm always afraid to put stuff like that on my computer in case it messes with something else and then I can't get my movie player to work or something. There's always some complication with me and these things. What I really want is a region free dvd player but hubby won't let me.

yh, then you could watch whatever you wanted from anywhere! i guess they would be pretty expensive though!

They cost the same as a standard DVD. In fact they are standard DVDs, just someone has taken it out of the box and hacked it to take the region coding off. Then they sell them like that. You can get them pretty inexpensively, you just have to trust that the person you bought it from knew what they were doing and that it would work with your TV.

I suppose this should be considered a rumour for now. Not sure if it's a good sign or bad sign for the show or what it even means but apparently the season two DVDs are being rushed out a week after the season finishes airing. I'm glad for that, but I hope it's not because they're intending to be done with the show come June. Again, just a rumour and not sure what it means if anything. Maybe the sales of season one did well and Lionsgate is anxious to capitalize on it, but one things for sure, a rush release like that can't possibly have any decent bonus features or commentary, so I'm not expecting that to improve. Here's the article, from TVshowsonDVD.com

Just thought I'd give a library update from Cleveland. Nearly four months after the release of the DVD set all 10 copies of the DVD's in the Cleveland Library System are checked out and there are 16 more patrons waiting for them to be returned so they can get their hands on them! The suburban Geauga County library has two copies, and they are both checked out. A good sign?

Ripoff that they are charging the same for 13 episodes as they did for 17 last year. Hope there are more extras to make up for it.

I'd be wary. They said cast commentaries last year and it ended up being no such thing. I'll wait until there's real word.

The DVD art for the second season is out. Same as the promo art we got at the beginning of the season, but I liked it then and so I like it now. I can't complain. Check it!

You can preorder the S2 DVDs at Amazon, but if you go through Reapersite to get there, the added bonus is that you get the DVDs and help support Reapersite along the way.

So this isn't really good news either, but very positive reviews of the show on a site discussion the DVD set at www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/37455/reaper-season-2/ -- HOWEVER it looks like no episode commentary, just: The Extras The extras were limited on the Season One DVDs, but at least the commentary track was about the shows on the discs. Here there's a 15-minute making-of featurette that is about the first season of the show, with no input from second-season actors. On the plus side, there's a small bit from Kevin Smith, who directed the pilot, and a look at the sets and vessel props. It still belongs on the previous set though.
The other extras are the same kind as Season One's, with deleted scenes and a gag reel included. The four deleted scenes don't reveal much and seem to have been cut for time, with two extensions of scenes in the show and two with info that was revealed inanother, later scene. The eight-minute gag reel is cute, with Wise and Labine offering the best screw-ups, especially Wise, as you rarely see the Devil flub a line.

I'll be getting it, but I was hoping that there would be more stuff included. I could have sworn that I heard there would be episode commentaries. Oh well...let's just hope the Season 3 set has better stuff!!! (crossing fingers that Season 3 does happen)

Write more reviews and rate Reaper more at Amazon!
Let's try and make Reaper #1 at Amazon! Strong sales indicate a strong fandom, and a strong fandom indicates WE WANT REAPER BACK! ABC will listen to the almighty dollar. So if you want to get them - even if it's to give as a gift later - let's make opening day for sales astronomical!

I can't tweet from work but will put this there, and check the non-# reaper posts, too, when I get home. Great idea RE: Amazon.

Bought mine and left a review yesterday. Frighteningly, my season 2 review sounds an awful lot like the season 1 review I wrote awhile ago. Guess my opinion hasn't changed much!

Yeah, I know something about how well Reaper sold. It didn't sell over 50,000 copies.
the-numbers.com posts the Top 30 sellers of Movies/TV and we didn't rank there. Maybe some of us could try contacting them and seeing how much it sold? I've tried before in the past, but they've never gotten back to me.

The second season is on The CW again, why would anybody buy a TV show DVD set from a season that is still on the air? If the show was sold "outside" the US, it would sell a lot more.

...Because that's what people do? When a show has finished out its' season and airs repeats, studios release the DVDs and people buy. Reaper should be no different.
