I'm too lazy to listen to the commentary... although, I know I will one of these days... one of these days.
I'm currently uploading an introduction for the DVD set, where I'll pretty much give you a tour of what there is, ect. Also, I'll be pointing out a shitload of flaws. XD

The gag reel was great. I love Bret's expressions and so many of them were of Ray. I'm a YouTube member but it never lets me leave comments for some reason, sorry.

Pfft. This is why we call it... oh wait, can't... nevermind. Y'all are no fun.
Ray Wise is GOD. There is no God, but he is God, he made God exist.

You are an IDIOTH for not watchin the commentary Meatball. But at least if I watch it and you don't, I get more than you in a small sort of way. The producers call him sexy and comment on how he ate SO MUCH chicken fried steak. And you find out how much Tyler Labine put in his own stuff... like... it was the best commentary ever. But you know what, still don't watch it. I don't want you to. You're a stupid ADD awesome person.

I'm still so pissed though that there's only commentary on the premiere and no contribution from the cast. Couldn't they have gotten the scooby gang to at least chime in on one episode together? It would have been a riot.

Another good review here: Seems the set is getting noticed and mentioned alongside every other big name release of the week. That's good, for some reason I feared it would be overlooked. Funny though how "Stick It" and not Heroes is listed as Missy's credit. Wouldn't more people know her from Heroes?

I'm in love with the DVDs. It feels like I have my show back. Today I watched six episodes back to back, I just can't stop. I miss my Reaper. And Sam's such a woobie. I had forgotten how much I enjoyed some of those earlier ones.

There are twelve amazon reviews up right now. Thanks to everyone who posted a five star review and if you haven't yet done so, please do it. Their sales rank is around #178 right now and I'd like to see it move up into the top 100.

Yeah, I read that as was all there's a holograph cover?

It's not really holographic, just a layered cover with the Sam and Sock on the outer plastic sleeve and the fire cover underneath it.

I wrote a review for Blockbuster, and voted the review above mine as "very helpful." I hope someone says my review is very helpful! (My gosh. When did I start caring about this kind of thing?)
And, the review at blue's second link is really positive.

I have to say, now that I've got my hands on the DVDs, the box art looks a lot swankier than I thought it would be.

Agreed, pending, I still catch sight of it sometimes and enjoy the 3-D ishness of it. Don't know if this means anything, but my 14-year old nephew thought it was cool; he's a sometime Reaper fan and I'm pushing him to recruit his friends. Oh, there's a suggestion for the Recruiting Viewers thread I think we should start here.

Just thought I'd post this is a positive sign. The Cleveland library system ordered 9 copies of the Reaper DVD set when it came out. They recently received their copies. I just checked their availability and all 9 are out on loan already. When I placed a hold on one, I came up 19th on the waiting list. So there is at least one more round of patrons with the set on hold. Let's hope most of those people are new fans trying out the series for the first time.

Cool news, wdpender. Since Reaper reruns do "surprisingly" (critics' word, not mine) well, that's another reason to hope we'll go into the 2nd season with more people.

That's awesome news about the library, though I think I'd rather those people go out and purchase the DVDs rather than borrowing them. But hey, it's still something. At least people still seem to be interested in the series.

Cleveland huh? I just did the same search for the Carnegie Library System in Pittsburgh but nothing comes up. Anyone else want to see how Reaper is doing in their local libraries?

No region 2 release for Reaper huh? But you were able to change laptop settings and get it to work? How did you do that? I'd love to be able to play region 2 discs on my computer.
