I'd never heard of him before Reaper, but he sure is the perfect Devil. His grin and demeanour remind me of Jack Nicholson mixed with Frank Sinatra. Smooth yet scary. It's brilliant how they managed to make an otherwise evil villain somewhat likeable. You want to like him, even as you know you can't trust him.

I agree with you 110%... and especially on the Jack Nicholson part. There's this one screencap of him and Sam sitting in a car, and he's reading something. He looks JUST like Nicholson from Batman (as the Joker). It's just awesome. In my fan-fics, (of course I've written myself into Two's/Three's a Crowd) I always get caught up in the moment when there's a Devil scene. Even though I'm writing it, it's kind of like another world when I do it. Although, in the story, I just can't bring myself to fully like him. It's more realistic than it should be... ! But yeah, his personality in the show is just awesome. Totally Devil-like.

I'd never heard of him before Reaper... Damn, I should smite you for admitting that alone. Who hasn't heard of Leland Palmer from Twin Peaks? *shudders in memory*

Before the show even aired, my mom picked him out of the pre-views as "a soap opera actor". IMDB confirms it! You have to go way, way back, but I'm talking Days of Our Lives and Dallas. I would kill for a few of those clips.

Also minor bad guy in RoboCop, which isn't as far back, but he has a ridiculous hairdo, and that is a majorly violent movie, BTW.

God, he was a bad guy in *everything*. His IMDB is hilarious; it just goes on forever.

I guess that's why he seems to be having so much fun in this show. He gets to play a cool character and wear nice suits.

Gotta love that white hair, too. DO THE LELAND SHUFFLE! I read an article about filming the Pilot, and Ray apparently kept improvising in that kitchen scene (where he's cooking steak with Sam), and someone complained to Kevin Smith that Ray wasn't sticking to script. Kevin was all "Dude, that's Leland Palmer. Let him do whatever the hell he wants!"

Ha! I bet he totally improvised that orange juice from the fridge. And the little dance he does while he's cooking.

Oh God... he improvised? YES! Great! That means he's not an idiot! OMG FINALLY A SMART ACTOR! I so mailed Bret for his contact... I need to talk to him. Me and Ray will have some long-ass conversation about EVERYTHING and ANYTHING.
Oh, and I was so obsessed with him (I still am) that I was at the ending of Robo Cop on TV and I THOUGHT I saw his forehead (you can't miss it) so I had my mom buy me Robo Cop off of Amazon because I thought he was in it. Oh yes, I cried because I didn't get to see him in it on TV but I was all happy when I got the DVD.
Damn it. He might ignore me because I'm going to come across as another screaming fan girl. XD

Haha, well, maybe start out a little reserved on the issue? Not that Ray probably wouldn't get a kick out of such an enthusiastic young fan, but, yanno. Focus first on what specificially you enjoy about his performances. And, uh, don't say "his hawt ass," even if that's true. *grins*
Also, instead of asking Bret for his contact information-- which he might not even know or feel comfortable giving off-hand-- why don't you go check out is IMDB page? You have to have a "Pro" account to get access to each actor's agent's info, but they offer a Free Trial, I'm pretty sure. Then you can try sending a letter to him via his agent?

You know... now that I've come to realize the reality of this... I kind of don't want to contact Ray. God, I have butterflies just thinking about it, and the last thing I need is stress. I'll just see if I can get through to him through some of my friends. I'm friends with Robert Englund (the guy who plays Freddy Krueger in the A Nightmare on Elm Street series)and Nancy Englund (his wife), and I'm friends with a very good friend of his. A lot of actors have good contacts that I could possibly get through to Ray with. I could try the agent dealio, but I'm just too afraid of it. ! Plus, I'd much rather get a letter to him personally, instead of his agent giving it to him. I will try this if my other plan doesn't work though. I get a little stressed if I don't do what I was planning on in the first place, y'know? ANNNDDDD... I already asked Bret. Hey, it's worth the shot right? Come to think of it, the letter I sent him was really stupid. He might have the heart in him to reply though. Maybe he's like his character, Sam, and is a real softy! LMAO!!

I'm friends with Robert Englund... Speaking of "Guests We'd Like to See." I loved him as Willie on V.

I was watching Jeepers Creepers 2 on the weekend and he played a kickass dad, hellbent for revenge on the creature for killing his son. I thought he played the part really well. Damn, he was about the only good thing in that entire movie, imo.

I bought Jeepers Creepers 2 just because he was in it. Especially at the end man... he really was hellbent on killing that creature.

I've been meaning to rent 'One Missed Call' to see his scenes in that, but I keep hoping someone will upload them to YouTube first.

Maybe he lies about his age? By a few weeks? Moral of the story: the CW doesn't fact-check.

He doesn't need to lie about his age, anyway... he only looks late 40's early 50's to me. You know, unless he frowns because then he looks like gravity hit him. Which... still is sexy... X____X;

Moral of the story: the CW doesn't fact-check. I'm shocked! Shocked, I tell you! This from the same network that said Michael Ian Black was playing Tony in "Coming to Grips" and listed the wrong actress who played the Acid Queen? Never!

SRSLY!? Christ. CW is such a friggin retard. They don't deserve Reaper and I think deep in their bowels they know that.

It doesn't need to be deep in their bowels to know such an obvious thing. Reaper is more of an ABC show, or even TNT, or FOX. One of them channels. Not the CW... the CW (i accidentally typed "COW" XD) is a fucking Berny Mac and Fresh Prince of Bel Air channel. IT DOESN'T EVEN DESERVE GOSSIP GIRL. Even though, nobody deserves Gossip Girl, because nobody did anything wrong enough to deserve it. XD

For the people who aren't familiar with Ray Wise, I highly recommend "The Journey of Natty Gann", made about 1985. I first saw this in the theater in my early teens and it remains one my favorite "kid friendly" movies. Coincidentally, he has also said it was one of his favorite roles (and probably one of the few where he wasn't the bad guy).
