I'd never heard of him before Reaper, but he sure is the perfect Devil. His grin and demeanour remind me of Jack Nicholson mixed with Frank Sinatra. Smooth yet scary. It's brilliant how they managed to make an otherwise evil villain somewhat likeable. You want to like him, even as you know you can't trust him. For the people who aren't familiar with Ray Wise, I highly recommend "The Journey of Natty Gann", made about 1985. I first saw this in the theater in my early teens and it remains one my favorite "kid friendly" movies. Coincidentally, he has also said it was one of his favorite roles (and probably one of the few where he wasn't the bad guy). Oh man, I probably saw this in 1985 too. I remember the film, but jeez do I not remember Ray in it.

I just went and looked it up on IMDB... Sounds like an adorable film that will now be ruined for me, since I look at Ray Wise and am immediately scared. It sounds like Wise plays the father the little girl is trying to find her way home to. Like 'Homeward Bound', but at the end it's the Devil.

It's official.
I am totally getting into Twin Peaks now. For my birthday, next month, I'm gonna have my gramps buy me each and every season on DVD.

Ohh, Satanic, I hope you enjoy it. I remember watching it obsessively when it ran on regular TV. DVDs, that'll be great!

I heard it was a little disappointing after the first season. You'll have to let me know, though I'm sure just seeing Leland Palmer will be enough to please you.

You got that right, pace. Plus, Twin Peaks seems a little insane and chaotic. My kind of TV show.

Even though, nobody deserves Gossip Girl, because nobody did anything wrong enough to deserve it. XD Totally! XD This is total weirdness in Norway (yeah, so we have very few networks, but still); one network has bought Reaper, Gossip Girls, Gilmore Girls, AFV, Supernatural, Smallville, The Bold and the Beautiful, and Fresh Prince in Bel Air. What is up with that mix? :S

Well, Gossip Girl, Smallville, Supernatural and Fresh Prince of Bel Air do come on the CW. I don't know about Gilmore Girls, AFV and The Bold and the Beautiful. -shrug-

Gilmore Girls was WB. I thought Fresh Prince was NBC. Bold and the Beautiful is CBS, and AFV is ABC.

Ray Wise will be in Bottsop, Germany, November 15th and 16th for their Weekend of Horrors. ' Which actually, kinda sucks IMO. He's supposed to be filming Reaper!

There's an mp3 audio on that too. And heh. Guy loves to skirt the issue. He's as bad as a politician, with or without playing the Devil I am rather annoyed though. The interviewer says he just spoke to Bret a few days earlier, but I can't find the interview. Also, Ray in "The Election".

That's a great interview! Lots of hints about future plot and character development; Ray's favorite episode; and what it's like to work with Bret, the other actors, and Kevin Smith. Well worth reading.

I know, I looked for the Bret interview too. It must have been off the record, informal like. I love when Ray calls Bret "a very good little actor". Aw, pat that little boy on the head Ray. Kind of an odd compliment.

I did not know he was originally up for Sheriff Truman. That woulda made a BIG difference in the show. Kinda laughed about how Lynch told him Ray would find redemption in Leland, 'cuz Leland was kay-ray-zee, then the show got stupid when they tried to make it into Bob.
