Ha! Oh, cko, you old smut-peddler you. My brother's 2 years older, which means he probably knows all about it, but my family gets downright Victorian about those types of things, so it's unlikely to ever come up in conversation. That doesn't mean he's not a computer-savvy snoop though, so I have to watch myself.

Well I'm not peddling. Just reading. Glancing. Victorian? That surprises me. But...Sunday school teacher. 7th Heaven. Now I remember.

I am so bored and so not excited for school which starts the 2nd. Anyway, how is everybody? Anyone got any awesome plans for the Labor day weekend? I'm stuck going to a car show with my dad, but hey maybe there will be some nice guys to look at that won't remind me of a certain someone. No, not dispointed or bitter at all. . Maybe I should welcome school, it should be a nice distraction with all the math. Oh well we will see. .

It's going to be gorgeous weather in my corner of the galaxy so we're going to the pool on Monday. Tomorrow we're getting our digital/HD hookup at last. Had to wait over a month for Verizon to fit us in. ETA: Hey, how do you get that Ray smilie to appear anyway? I'm an admin and even I don't know.

LostinFlight, car show! I love those! And yes, good place to see men. But, using "math" to forget a guy--I don't know about that. I don't have any particular plans for the long weekend but I'm glad we get one. School's only been in for a week, and already I need a break. I have 40 students in my night health class (Monday 7-10 pm, yes we all suffer together) but I think we'll have fun. Lots of sharing personal stories, group discussion, and movies! I love to show movies.

Oh, you should know I totally suck at finding those easter eggs on DVD. Even still, I imagine I'd have to say something pretty inappropriate for Ray to appear so I think I get it. ETA: Okay, I cheated. Just like I do with the easter eggs. . ETA2: Aww man, I'm only getting red x's now.

If we're whipping out the pictures we carry constantly in our wallets of our children animal friends, here's my ma's ancient mutt of a dog getting picked on by one of the cats: And I've been reading up on snakes recently, 'cause I'm thinking of finally getting one after years of being jealous of my friend's because oh man snakes are awesome. Not a crazy poisonous kind or some anaconda-wannabe, don't worry. Just a normal snake. The right breeds are actually incredibly gentle. Paaaace. Quote, not Modify!

AAAAWWWWWWW. SO cute. We had a 120 lb lab once that felt terrorized by our 10 lb cat, even though she really wasn't. It was hilarious. She actually went around the house in order to get in just to avoid the cat. Paaaace. Quote, not Modify! Ha! I'd say jinx but you're almost an hour ahead of me. D: And *&^&*%*&% YOU can get the big picture! Why can't I?

No pet pics right now, but we have two dogs in the pool as I speak so maybe later. Gorgeous day, hot sun; we're grilling burgers.

Naw. Like Pending says, I like to show that I'm the better person! So I'll exalt you!
Oh, snakes! We always had snakes; my brothers used to catch them camping. They are very cool and feel so smooth. Except one time, the snake escaped in the car on the drive home. Three hours in a station wagon packed with 7 people and a week's worth of camping gear, and a loose snake. Never did find that one.

I had in my study groups 'older' people, especially some parents who were going back for their education. College isn't just for 'young' people anymore! And 5 years? It'll be like you never left! Kinda like riding a bike. Congrats, rappy and good luck! Are you going for a higher degree, or just finishing off your first?

Desperately trying to come up with something so that "cko=smut peddling" post gets buried right quick. How about: Live Journal has finally gone off the rails with that silly "Writer's Block" feature? On the other hand, for those too lazy or scared to follow politics, The Pending has been offering handy-dandy daily Republican Convention updates over there. Making it easy, thanks, Pending! Doesn't anyone have Dating News? I don't...yet. ETA: Gaah! How long are these frakkin' pages, anyway? EATA: I'm trying a new strategy on these free dating sites. Search for Reaper. Found a few. Will report back...maybe. Later...hey! there are quite a few. And Bluuuueee. Some in yourrr area! Weird thing, I just checked myself out, and I'm only a 95% match with me. Wonder what that means.

That's for all you Democrats of course, it should be noted. Pending I love you and your LJ entries, but we'll just disagree on this one thing m'kay? I do like your entries though, because while they clearly have political leanings, I don't find them as vicious as some others. I'm open minded and all, but I had to drop someone from my friends list because her daily political entries were so nasty and uncalled it got to the point where it was offensive. Dammit there's a mosquito loose in my office. Okay, so I don't think I've ever had more items on Amazon pre-order than I do now. Seriously, everything I want comes out between September and December. Last night, I went to pre-order Wall-E and I had to check my order history to make sure I hadn't already done it. Nope, I now have Wall-E, Reaper, Iron Man, The Hulk, HIMYM season three and the special edition of the Tales of Beedle the Bard. Someone stop me. Heh. Clearly you're of two minds.

I was mostly thinking of that dog painted like the French flag. HaHa! Don't look at me. I'm battling my own demons; I've been binging on YouTube and have actually considered adding comments which everyone knows is hitting bottom. (Someone even developed a hack to control such comments on your screen.) With deep unresolved internal conflicts. Or, just the capacity to surprise even myself!

Oh wasn't that funny? Poor dog!
Oh I have a friend that has videos on YouTube and occasionally gets horrible trolls. That would be perfect, I sent her the link. Now go easy, I know it can be tempting to search to see what's out there and say just one more jusrt one more but the sun is shining and it's a beautiful day. Get outside!

It is a beautiful day, but no outside for me. We're hiring two staff so I'm doing 5 interviews today. However, after work I'm planning to go to a gallery opening, credit to onyourmark's idea the other day. I mention this on the theory that the more people I tell, the more I'll hold myself to it. Next stop, scrapbooking group?
Or, I've been myspacing (SIGH) with a friend in a cover-type band, and he invited me to the following. From what you all know of me, which sounds the most promising?
