Congratulations! The city must be buzzing. And it was a GREAT game, which makes the win even sweeter. Sadly, there was no mention of Missy, or Reaper. Maybe in the follow-up coverage?
And no, I did not win. Eh, that's okay. The last time I won anything in that pool, it was for the big money, I split it with my coworker, and it was the game our beloved Raiders lost, bad. So, money isn't everything. Though it did help ease the pain a bit.

I was looking for Missy in the stands but no. Also one of the starting players has a fiance that works for my hubby. She was there, but we couldn't spot her either. Hubby promised me and the girls two shirts each if we win so I'm trying to decide between Polumalu (my personal fave but not a stand out in this game) or Holmes (the MVP) for my jersey.
Parade this week too!

*quietly slinks in and takes up residence in the corner* Given that it is a sweltering summer's day outside, I thought that my first post in this forum would be aptly placed in here. ...hello, I'm HyperCaz and I'm mainly a lurker. Don't mind me.

Ooh, hypercaz, welcome! Yeah some of us here in the Northern Hemisphere are freezing. Not so in my area, northern California. Welcome to ReaperDMV. How did you find us? And...when is Reaper playing in your area?

Okay is there something wrong with me? I'm trying to do this 25 Random Things on Facebook since I've actually really enjoyed others' (yay, pacejunkie!) but I can't seem to come up with 25 damn things about myself. Actually I've only come up with three so far. Still trying...suggestions welcome unless that's somehow cheating? I guess I'd better look at the rules again. Oh how do I get myself into these things?

And...when is Reaper playing in your area? The magical properties of an LJ search are many and varied. And I've been drooling over the spoiler board for a few months anyway, . I don't know when Reaper is airing. Possibly never, knowing the TV stations here. But I still enjoy the show. Even managed to get my brother addicted two days ago, after a little taste. Still need him to sign on the dotted line for his contract, though... Thx for the welcome.

I thought I would only be able to come up with a few when I did it too but once I got going, I thought of more. They could be random facts, goals, trivia, seriously anything at all about you. You like crossword puzzles? Yoga? Yogurt with or without bits of fruit? Ever get tangled in seaweed at the beach? Just go nuts. I can't wait to read it.
Good job hypercaz and welcome! We probably could get you that broadcast information. Australia, New Zealand or elsewhere?

Australia. Channel 7 was supposed to air it end of last year, but it never happened. Although I could have blinked-and-missed-it (doubtful, I staked out both of 7's channels [HD airs shows that no one watches] for months), I am sure it didn't air. Then again, it might have been on-sold to pay TV, as happened with Chuck. Channel 7's Reaper page: au.tv.yahoo.com/b/reaper/

Yeah, soon we'll start sharing turkey jerky and everything... I've ... dabbled in fanfiction for Reaper, but totally failed to finish them before the show rendered them useless. They were mad fun to write though.

I'm not dead and Blue, I promise I'll do that thing I said I'd do.
But you guys were totally in a dream I had last night! For some reason there were a bajillion people at the store I work at and you guys were all meeting up there-- only I couldn't actually make contact with any of you while I was on the clock, so I just kept circling and trying to herd you together without actually saying anything directly to you.
Pace, your daughter was with you and she was more excited about it than you were.
Dave needed a haircut.

I beg to differ, as you would know if you would get on Facebook and read my 25 Things About Myself in which I did promote Reaper by way of a thanks to the fandom. I also posted a modified version at LJ. We absolutely must do something with these half-finished ideas we have. hypercaz, check out the Inspiration thread. And, that is so WEIRD because two nights ago Dave was in my dream and also had long hair! I thought it looked good, though.

Whenever I see or hear the word "haircut", I think of the song Devil's Haircut by Beck from the show. Sounds like a frustrating dream, but I'm sure if Sam or Sock were around, they could help you out with a distraction of stupendous proportions. Umm, hmm, now that I think about it, those fics are quite embarrassing. Except Sock's lines, because really, his dialogue will be magic in any fanfiction. I had my own little theory about the ripped page way back when, but as I said - my fics are now so outdated they are not worth continuing.

The creature who's a much better door than a window while I'm in chat: This? Is no angel. Today she decides that just as I am about to get up and go to the store to buy dinner, plopping her furry butt on my chest and head and taking a nap is the perfect thing to do. She's also taken to stealing my chair and snoring in my ear at night. And that's not including her *old* habits, of desperately looking cute so that I will pet her and she can eat my hand. Sigh.

awwwww she does look adorable... This is why my cats sleep in the laundry at night. We recently tried one night with them up and about, but they made such a racket. And whoa I haven't been here for a while... I apologise... university started back and it made me sleepy. But woohoo! It's Tuesday in Sydney and I'm psyched already, even though I'll have to wait for Wednesday, possibly Thursday... so it goes... BUT PSYCHED!

Has no-one any Life in Hell? (Oh wow that reminds me of one of my favorite cartoon series. Old-days Matt Groening, in fact. Check out this one: How to Get the Love You Deserve. One of his stages of dating is: "Grave misgivings during rest of day, countered with pleasant respite from loneliness." Hey! The cartoon update is the same as my dating update! Except I haven't really been lonely.) What's everyone else up to? ETA: Yeah if no-one else has anything, I'm going to talk sports. I love the NCAA basketball tournament, but this is the first time I've ever done brackets! On Yahoo! I could win a million bucks. If anyone else wants to do it, I have a group number and password; let me know. Deadline is Tuesday. March Madness!

Blue, give her some then! Simple solution.
I forgot to make note of a red-letter day in my life. Tuesday, March 24. No not because of Reaper. I receieved this in my email: "[CKo], today is your last day on eHarmony."
No more Requests for Fast Track Communication. No more Meet Your Match. No more We'd Like to Introduce You To Sid. No more Tips for Dating: Ten Do's and Ten Don'ts. I'm freeeeeeeeeeeee!
Now back to real life.

Great, mark, congratulations! Hope it's a cool one. We'll hold you to your promise about being around more. We've missed you! So I take it it was a somewhat less than successful process? Let's just say I learned a lot about myself in the process. Stuff I already actually knew, but anyway. I think it would be a great service for anyone looking to settle down and get serious with someone. It turns out I'm not. Which is one thing I learned....that I already knew. I'm not giving up dating, just switching tactics a bit. Wish me luck!

Oh yeah I could see that. I would imagine 99% of the people that end up on a service like that are doing it to get married. Everyone else just meets dates in bars the old fashioned way. Good luck! It's good that you know what you want, that you know you're not looking for the one.
