Yay! Are we doing YouTube showings? Because I've been waiting to toss this one out at people, and since it's a Heroes fanvid (and inappropriate!) the only place is here. I guess it's a slash video, but I just think it's hilarious. "Something Dirty", with Sylar and Peter.

Whoo, that was cool, and the song is hilarious. Thinking again about recruiting new viewers through the magic of fanvideos, which I will post it that other thread.

So, in talking to various friends about my recent dating escapade, I've discovered two things: 1) I'm ready for some new ideas to pursue. Feel free to weigh in. 2) Apparently, the concept of "hot tub places" doesn't exist everywhere in the country? Is it only a West Coast thing?

I've never heard of a hot tub place. And new ideas? Join volunteer groups where you might meet someone with a common interest.
And in other news...
GO STEELERS!!!! WHOOOOOHOOOOO!!!!!

You and your big head are the best. Also, I think my e-mail got changed. So if you sent me something, I didn't receive it. When I see you around on AIM, I'll give it to you.

No matter how I feel about the man or his politics, I am impressed with the grace and dignity in which he left.

To put that same thought in way less mature a format: I was floored that there was no pardoning shit-storm at the end.

Bam loves his Blackberry: How awesome is it that his wife publically smacked him for being so addicted he kept checking it instead of watching his daughter's soccer game? Awesome awesome. To put that same thought in way less mature a format: I was floored that there was no pardoning shit-storm at the end. To be fair, as former governor of Texas, leniency for felons was never one of Bush's strong points. And when leaving, he didn't have any cronies under investigation or serving jail - the exception being of course, Scooter Libby, who he'd already pardoned a couple of years ago IIRC.

True, but as a person from Illinois, I've come to expect the 'pre-emptive pardoning' as part of the tradition of a major figure leaving office.

Not pardoned. He commuted his jail sentence so Libby never spent a day in the joint. That's why many, myself included, thought he would pardon Libby as Bush was going out the door.

I am outside. Seriously, it's a gorgeous day here (sorry everybody), and I find simultaneously getting my Vitamin D and cruising the internet saves valuable time. My view: Besides, it's going out that gives me problems.

Hey Mr.33, it's not my fault if other people decide not to neglect their studies.

Now I'm smiting you for alleging stinger isn't neglecting his studies. Because he so is. My classes started again, and check it out. This guy is in my drug class, and in addition to public speaking about his accident, he also runs our chapter of Students for Sensible Drug Policy, a national drug policy reform org. My night class has 45 students, and though the administration has asked me to extend the time of the class by 15 minutes to 10:05 pm, the time is already going faster thanks to a bunch of videos Blue found for me online. Or In Hell, depending on where you're reading this.

Hahaha, that's right, I had forgotten. But in my opinion, those should count for negative credit. So Stinger's actually at -67 posts. But at least he's discovered the message board version of stage whispering. Pace's pretty much the only one of us who doesn't click the 'show' buttons compulsively, amiright?

I have pretty good self control, but I'm also the knucklehead that modifies people's posts instead of replying to them. I'm working on that one still.

I just approved a requisition to purchase a Penis Costume. $70! which seems inexpensive, actually. I don't know compared to what.
I did not find a Super Bowl party yet, but I did draw some pretty good numbers in the Super Bowl pool. If the final score is Pittsburgh _4, Cards _7, I win $250! (I also have other chances to win, but I'll spare the details for those of you who have no idea what I'm talking about, or who couldn't care less.)

Hmmm... Superbowl. Is that the thing where they show football between commercials? I used to know, but then I realized the Chicago Bears were never going to win it ever again, so I jettisoned that information to make room for Trivial Pursuit answers.

FYI, turns out the British are fascinated (perhaps morbidly) by the Superbowl, so I'll probably be watching it tonight in the college bar. Go Steelers! Because I can't remember who else is playing!
