So, is the DMV gonna be doing recaps, a la TWOP? I seem to vaugely remember this being discussed(I could be imagining things though) and I think it'd be a great idea.

Nice how the individual in question who saaaaaiiiiiidddddd he was recapping the show premiere now is conveniently without a computer. MARK. I totally agree with you random, it would be great if we do end up doing them. Cko is always telling me I should and I would certainly love to, but with work and everything else I do around here, I can't guarantee I could do every episode, or that it would get done in even the most modicum of a reasonable time. I guess in the end, all I can say is we will see. |

I'd throw my hat into the ring and say that I'd have a go at it, but with schoolwork it's hard for me to justify doing something like that when I'm ignoring more "important" things. But, I mean, if no one else does it and I find the time, I'd totally be down. And then I can rub it in Mark's face when he gets back. It'll be awesome.

I started the premiere last week and will put it up when it's finished. Maybe this weekend? Not quite sure. Time is a luxury this week. But totally not doing 202. I blissfully avoided the Kristen crap with the magic of fastforward. I am not ruining my supreme good luck. |

Great, you two, keep it up. Looking for volunteers for upcoming episodes? Anyone can give it a try. I think it's great to have the individual variety in them, some long, some short, some snarky, some serious. I'll volunteer for one soon, but I'm still slogging away at the transcripts. Possibly I will take reapermaniac's advice and just do quotations instead.
At some point we'll have to figure out where all this stuff gets posted, whether here, or at LJ with links. Meanwhile, I gotta say our during-show chat was very very fun and funny. There might be some gems there, too. Show-related chat only, of course, so don't worry any of you about when we veered into other topics of a more personal nature. You know, about Watchmen and all.

Okay, I'm holding random to Episode 2, and I'm willing to do Episode 3 unless it's more convenient for someone else to do that week. Blue made a board, which should inspire us. Plus she's almost done with hers and it's hilarious and insightful. But like I said above, it's okay if each one is different....

Sweet mother of god! That is one long ass recap! Heh. It actually ended up shorter than I thought. I've long since accepted that I am a complete writing blowhard. Can't wait! Especially since I purposefully ignored 1/3 of it. At least with a recap I don't have to watch the nausea. I've changed the settings in the recap board so you can post it and make it a poll if you want. I was originally thinking we'd be more like TWOP = recap in one area, commenting on recap in the episode thread. But APPARENTLY, we have staff that is unable to read. |

Great recap Blue. As good as anything on TwoP. I like having them in their own forum like you have it. It makes them easy to spot and people can just come here and find the recaps without having to search subforums.
Oh, one correction about that Sam line in the Brick -- It's actually "My girlfriend throws me out pretty hard." Not froze. And not as big a deal but his stage whisper line is "How long are you going to be mad at me?"

Lemme just say it's not so much about being clever as it is about picking an episode where you actually have something to say. Recapping an episode is one thing, bitching while recapping is quite another. ;D I think only 1, 2, and 3 are acccounted for (I think ck's doing tonight), so we have 4 (which is the Morgan episode) and 5 (which is the baby episode). Either of those strike your fancy? |

This is no big, but it's been confusing me. I had to go to modify profile and set my "time" to "observing daylight savings time." Don't know if there's a way to do this universally, though. I do so like things to be accurate.  |
