Pace, you're watching Mad Men? I hear such great things, then other complaints that it's too cynical, no-one is likeable, etc. If I do decide to start, I guess I have to start from the beginning.
In addition to what I wrote, above, I'm also going to watch HIMYM and BBT, since I"m free on Monday nights, woo hoo! And Castle. Hope none of these conflict, timewise.

Yes, I started from the beginning with the DVDs because the friend that told me about it said you kind of had to since it's serialised. I really loved the first season and there are definitely characters to like but they are mostly the oppressed women, the men are victims of their society in a different way. It's an interesting glimpse into the time period. Right now, I'm waiting for the season two DVDs from amazon but they seem to have gotten misrouted by the post office. I may need to get a replacement shipment which is going to impede my ability to watch season three, especially now that so many new shows start or return next week.
I hate how they moved HIMYM to 8:00. Content wise, I think it's too adult and it's just too early for me, I'm going to tape it and watch it just before BBT at 9:30.

Big Bang Theory was hilarious; I loved the one guy (I never can remember names) with his mom, saying grace! And Castle is likeable as ever; the idea of the charming mystery writer (Nathan Fillion) helping the NYPD solve crimes, is still entertaining. Plus, scenes of New York!

Kali, you and a bunch of other of my friends. I can't seem to get myself to start watching, though. Novium recommends starting with Season 4 DVDs, so maybe i shall try that.
Bummer. Tonight, the 9-10 slot has shows I want to watch on two channels at the same time: Glee and Modern Family/Cougartown. No DVR. Gotta figure out which one is better to watch online. Sigh.

Thursday nights: Flash Forward, ABC (ok, ok, blue! you don't have to watch ABC!), 8 pm The Office and Community, 9 pm. Wish me luck. And, I've heard good things about Modern Family and Cougartown. I think next week I'll switch and watch Glee online. I'm liking that show, and it has great moments (kid comes out to Dad) and funny lines, but it's not quite gelling. ETA, 8:30 pm: Okay I'm watching Flash Forward with other Twitterers and we're all amazed so far! And here's a cool website for the show, sponsored though by abc.com in case any of you want to avoid it! www.jointhemosaic.com/site/index.html#/MAP

Dollhouse! Pretty damn good. Still some strange acting styles (Eliza, Tahmoh) but the addition of Alexis Denisof is so intriguing, and Jamie Bamber's guest spot was fab! He was eeeevil! And lots of mytharc. I'm a tad confused, because I don't remember all the details from the end of last season, but I'll catch up. Can't wait for Ray Wise!

I loved Flash Forward I don't watch Lost so I can't compare the two shows. I liked the Good Wife and the Forgotten as well.

FlashForward and Dollhouse are still the two biggies of the season for me (and Mad Men which is halfway over). I tried watching the premiere episode of Glee on Hulu. I couldn't stand it. I just didn't find it clever, it was just a straight High School Musical ripoff and a poor attempt at satire. Sorry, no offense to anyone who likes it of course, just my tuppence.

None taken, pace, I wouldn't have thought Glee would be to your liking. I'm still mixed; I like some aspects of it (the singing, the quirky and occasionally genuinely touching characters) but we'll have to see tonight.
What are you -- and everyone --thinking of Dollhouse? Flash Forward? I guess we should let the next episodes play through. I'll be back in a bit to weigh in again on Glee.

I'm still loving Dollhouse about as much as I did last season but it seems the viewers are fleeing in droves. This week it got only 2.1 million viewers which is barely what Reaper got. Ironically, this past lowest rated episode ever was written by -- Butters and Fazekas. I enjoyed it, but obviously I'm in the minority.
I'm enjoying FF too, even as I find some of the characters more interesting than others. They're getting about 10 million right now.
Also watching Little Dorrit on DVD which is very good but I wish I had someone to talk to about it. I have questions.

So: 1) Glee: I"m still watching, because it has its surprising moments and I look forward to the performances (though those have been disappointing, somewhat) but I don't have a rooting interest in any of the characters.
2) Dollhouse, sucks about the ratings. I have some criticisms but agree with the general (though apparently small) consensus that this was one of the best written episodes that made excellent use of the premise.
3) I'm also still in it for Flash Forward, it's so full of surprises and creepiness. Not as interested in the character drama aspect, but the action/adventure/mytharc is fun!

I feel the same about Glee. I want to love it as much as Ryan Murphy's other show (the crazy-tastic, canceled-too-early Popular), but it usually leaves me feeling *meh.* At least last week there was SOME advancement in the plot.
And Dollhouse last week was WAY too awesome, and not just because of the Devil -- oops, I mean Ray Wise. (Sam would have NEVER gotten away with what Adelle did to him, heh.) This show is finally embracing its potential -- makes me even more cranky that it's canceled.
I still love-love-love The Vampire Diaries. It's taking a lot of deviations from the books, but it's still amazing in its own way, and I love all the blink-and-you-miss-them shout-outs to book fans. I'm still antsy for the new eps to return after the creepy cliffhanger, even though that ep is already a few weeks old. (I know you guys are all watching Flash Forward, but I still highly recommend this show!)

I'm still sticking with Glee, now that the you-know-what subplot seems to be busted open, let's hope it gets better.
I TOTALLY FORGOT that Dollhouse is the one with Ray Wise! I missed it, now gotta go find it. *goes*
*pops back to say* I'm completely watching comedies these days. Big Bang Theory (I think Raj is my favorite these days), Modern Family, Community. Check 'em out, folks, it's only 30 minutes out of your life (each).

Awesome, alex, how fun! Love your mash up with Sheldon's greatest quotes. And it's great to see the lyrics to the full song, that's pretty amazing. It really is the "History of Everything."

Blue, thought you might get a kick out of (and understand) these tweets from a Twitter friend about Fringe. I have no clue what he's on about, but I'm sure you do!
ZachsMind "Did you lose a bet?" "It was either that or flying lessons" That's only gonna make sense to you if you saw #Fringe but trust me: it's funny
ZachsMind Holy crap! Walter is suggesting scientists would use a wedding to conduct an experiment?! #Fringe Wow. That just boggles the mind.
