Hey, reapermaniac, moved your post from chat to here, this is where the fic requests and ideas go.
I think it's a great idea, I haven't seen that come up before. So Sam dies and per the contract ends up in hell and then escapes. You'd need another bounty hunter of course to capture him, and maybe Sock and Ben can be working against that reaper to bail Sam out and bring him back. Could be lots of emotion, with Sock, Ben and Andi attending a funeral and all, thinking he's gone and then the next day or a week later he can show up again, on the lam. Then they have to figure out how to help him before the new reaper does his job. The Devil will have to play a role in this too of course. I like it. Are you going to write it?

yeah
i got the idea when walking my dog, i thought it was original. I am not very good at spelling though so i am going to get my mum to spell check!I think I will write it soon, i want to post it soon though. I added a twist and turn aswell including Sams power as a soul. I decided also that Sock can see Sam so can most people but Andi can't, except later on. Andi is also engaged to greg which Sam and Sock try and break them up. Yep, i will add a reaper who will have his own background story too. I'm not too sure about the devil yet. I am going to put him in somewhere but i'm not to sure how exactly. Any idea's?

I'm curious as to what Reaper the Devil would send after Sam. Sam seems a bit special enough that the Devil might consider going after him himself. |

I think I might use something like that, thanks for the advice. I've got an idea of Sam power but any other suggestions wellcome. I thought about inisablility because no one really cares about him because he is not very"Important" in social socity. I thoght it would be could if he could turn ivisable at will. I'm not too sure so if anyone else has better ideas I am open to any suggestions!

So I might regret this, since I am currently in thrall to two such comms already (though I've only written one short piece for the Dollhouse one) but I'm wondering if it would inspire us, and other writers, to write more if we had a weekly writing deal, like flash challenges, writing prompts, pic prompts, or some other way to get people to write about/after every episode. I could contact reaperfic and see if they would be interested? But I'd need help with the idea and prompts. (Blue came up with some great ones above.) And, would we want to do it as an affiliate with reaperfic but run it through dmv or reapertv? The reason I'm thinking of this is: 1) I need some pressure and structure to write, and 2) I realized today that the only reason I want to catch up on last night's Dollhouse ep is so I can write about it. What do you all think? ETA: Other idea, and I know I've said this for a while, but the Buffy one is a multi-creative comm, where people submit stories, art, or meta for each ep. Makes for a nice variety. We talked at TWOP about something like this, but now we have the venues to support it... here's the link to the Buffy comm to give an idea. |
