Every year my sisters and I work on a charity Trivia competition. 100 questions in all categories. So, I'm asking for suggestions for good trivia questions or general topic areas from your own geographical area or age group! Like, what cartoons or other TV shows were popular when you were young(er)? What movies shaped you at an early age? How about celebrity gossip? Reality TV? What news stories do you follow, what is your favorite random fun fact? You don't have to phrase it in the form of a question; we can form those. All suggestions welcome, but not too obscure, we're not trying to stump people--just appeal to a wide range of players. Thanks!
And from last year, here are the questions the awesome stinger came up with, which were some of the most popular in the competition! Just to give you an idea of what works:
Q: What was Doug Funnie's dog's name on the animated Nickelodeon series, Doug? A: Porkchop.
Q: What was the first city visited by MTV's The Real World? A: New York.
Q: What's the name of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle's female friend? A: April O'Neil.
Q: In the film The Goonies, what is the name of Chunk's "special" dance? A: The Truffle Shuffle.
Q: Who, more often than not, is the antagonist in a game starring Super Mario? A: Bowser.
And here's one kathyk just came up with: What two oscar winners were cast members on The Electric Company? Morgan Freeman and Rita Moreno
Post your questions/answers here! Please help!

Q: Who was on deck when N.Y. Giant Bobby Thompson hit "The Shot Heard 'Round the World" in the 1951 play-off against the Brooklyn Dodgers?
A: Willie Mays.
If I think of others, I'll pass 'em along.
I went to see Lucinda Williams in concert last night. She was excellent. The last song of the encore was a cover version of AC/DC's "It's a Long Way to the Top if You Wanna Rock N' Roll." She rocked it.

Great ones, thank you both! It's the diversity of questions that really makes it. Except curses, loandbehold, now I'm walking around singing "It's a Long Way To the Top" and not nearly as well as Lucinda, I'm sure, unless her version is weak and screechy. Sounds like an awesome show.

Ha! I was doing yoga, and who of all things decides to do it with me? Why, Quill of course! She kept getting tangled in my hair.

Hello, I'm really sorry for not being around lately. Things have been really crazy and now I'll probably have to move somewhere else, I hope that's not really necessary but only time will tell.
I came here yesterday and found nobody, so I hope I can chat with you guys next week.
Take care and see you later!

You guys are so cool! Thank you for the birthday wishes. And Blue, I swear one day I will learn how to do those falling things and surprise you with snowing Quills on your birthday. I only have 300-some days to figure it out.
Beatrix, I forgot your birthday is right after mine! Happy happy day!
