Aw, I'm watching Sam's dad as the dad in Final Destination 2. Too bad he doesn't have much of a part.

Did anyone see Sam's mom on Supernatural? I was all like "Sam's hot mom!" when I saw her. Funny, too, that she's playing the part of Supernatural-Sam's grandmother.

Reaper and Supernatural have shared many of the same actors! Marlena, the donut shop owner, that Harmony chick, and now Sam's mom. I think his dad also had a guest role on there at some point. Heh.

I got really bored of studying so I decided to see how many other actors the shows have shared. Its mostly just extras but Greg, Gloria, Dennis, Cubby Bryce, Bobby Hartford, Mrs. Carmona, Mrs. Wysocki, Herbert Schrim, Kendall, Agent Papalbaum, the paramedic and the bubbly employee from Magic, the Campaign Manager from What about Blob, the therapist and DMV employee from Leon, the demon speaker and the kidnapped drug dealer from Rebellion, the court officer and one of the kids from The Cop, and the pregnant woman from Coming to Grips have also been in both shows. Yeah, I was really bored and just a tab bit obsessed.

Not so new. It's in its 3rd season.

I'm watching Will & Grace reruns and Ken Marino (Tony!) is dating Grace, except he has a small...physical issue...that she can't get past. Episode 3.9. He looks cute. But she looks too thin.

I noticed the girl from Love, Bullets, & Blacktop. She had the same hair. Since I only just started watching supernatural, it drove me nuts because she looked super familiar...and annoying. I was finally driven to looking it up on IMDB. I got really bored of studying so I decided to see how many other actors the shows have shared. Ray Wise plays a slimy sports agent in a very brief but memorable performance in Sports Night. Season 1, Episode 5, Mary Pat Shelby. I'll try to find a pic if I can. He's awesomely hate-able. Loandbehold and I are doing a re-watch of this show at TWoP. Everyone should watch it.

He's also in the first episode of burn notice. As an affable but evil rich guy in miami.

I saw Ken Marino in the trailer for the new film, Role Models, starring Paul Rudd and Seann William Scott. Looks like an awesome movie, so good for him!

I saw Role Models the other day! Marino does a pretty good job at playing the exact opposite of Tony: an emphatically heterosexual, emotionally-stunted step-dad (who disapproves of his step-son's D&D-style nerdiness). With really embarrassing facial hair.
He was also one of the screenwriters for the movie, according to IMDB.

There's only a few seconds about Kandyse's work on Reaper in that podcast. At one point she says "It's a fun show...do you guys know that show, does it play here?" -- it's in Australia-- "they're so funny, what you see on tv isn't half as funny as what goes on on the set, with all the improv and everything." And, slight spoiler: she says she should be coming back for a few episodes in Season Two.

Patton Oswalt has a movie showing at Sundance. Also so does John Krasinski! The AV Club article also mentions the "Proposition 8 cloud":

Not sure this qualifies, but the Jack King guy is in this comedy video "Please Don't Bomb Nobody This Holiday" and so is everyone else in the world, including Neil. Patrick. Harris. Who takes his shirt off. Sorry I can't figure out right now how to embed. It's worth following the link.

Funny photo of him at that link; I guess he really is a comic type judging by that. He did show good comedic skills in that episode. And hey! he was also in Battlestar Galactica! I may need to rewatch to see him. That site says he was Flat Top, the Raptor pilot at the centre of an ill-fated celebration early in season 1. ETA: Thanks for the spoiler button, Blue, how did you...oh, I see! And: Again not sure this qualifies but we're getting desperate with 95 days, 2 hours, 5 minutes, and 2 seconds to wait for the new season. Patton Oswalt weighed in here: Celebrity Guests on The Year's Best Albums at AV Club. So many albums and "celebrities" I've never heard of. Patton's is MGMT's Oracular Spectacular.
