Craig posted the new TVGuide preview at Reapersite, and was kind enough to let us know about it. Like he said, there's really nothing new in terms of info, but it's got some interesting quotes. I'm really confused. If Sam really is the Devil's son why is God represented by Steve still interested in him? Are the writers trying to say that even if your parent is evil you don't have to be? I hope that whenever Reaper ends Sam gets his soul back. I hate when sci-fi tv shows don't end their original storylines On Quantum Leap Sam Beckett never leapt home and the Sliders never came back to their own world.

Love it! I can't wait for the boxing episode. One nitpick. We saw many shots of Sock but Ben seemed to have disappeared. And where was Gladys? Bret has a great smile.

Ben was there. I liked the scene of the three of them clinking beer bottles. Still a team. Sock always does get more promo attention though because he brings the funny. Gladys isn't major enough of a character for a 20 second promo. This featured the main cast.
So true. But I also love it when something hits him and he goes "Oof!"

And I found a nice report and trailer on this American site. Plenty of subculture buzz, now let's see some mainstream buzz. Among the awesome things about TV this Winter is the return of Reaper, the quirky CW buddy comedy about a boy and the devil who rules him. Yup, I love this silly show, and finally, today brings a quick glimpse of the second season.
It's just a little teaser, but I'm at the point where any glimpse of Sock making gross bodily noises or Sam attempting to take out some demon with a frying pan is good enough for me. It's just good to see the Work Bench crew again — not to mention the devilish Ray Wise. |

You're probably all discussing this in spoilers but since we follow TwoP spoiler rules here (or try to) and this was released by the CW, I'm linking it here for the nonspoiled among us -- New pics from the set! And according to the article, actual interviews are to come so stay tuned. The CW Source is a complete loser. They won't release the videos for several more months, not until we get closer to the airdate of the show. So yeah, they teased us, then insist on us waiting at least 6 months for the interviews. However - the WGN isn't as stupid. THEY PUT UP PICS!!!!! Since the WGN *is* an official source, I'm putting them here. Most of the info listed is stuff we already know anyways. BUT YAY!!!! PICTURES!!!!! |

In Entertainment Weekly's current issue there's a "Winter TV Preview" that mentions Reaper: Iiiiinteresting. I mean, I find it really bizarre that Michele would let the Tony and Steve out of the "official bag" so to speak. So far, all the S/T info we have has been unofficial, but now they're releasing it. Not that I mind considering the amount of interest it will generate since S/T are definitely fan favorites. But "demon assassin"? WTF? Still not looking forward to the hot stepsister, even less now that she's described as the "Japanese Britney Spears". That's got to be the desperate attempt to gain the female teen viewers the CW is forcing on them. |

I didn't understand that. First of all, I thought that Marino and Black had moved on to other projects but both of them back as neighbour demons? How is that possible if Steve is an angel now? Does he screw up again and get kicked out? But however they worked it, they are smart to do it, knowing they were the best new characters of the show. Lucky to get them back.
And still no mention of Josie. I think she's gone.

I think they had to confirm that Steve and Tony were coming back since Michael Ian Black mentioned Reaper in his blog. I think it would be possible for them to guest appearences if their schedules allowed it. I do find it ironic that they've talked about Sam's Dad but not his Mom. I want to know if Gladys comes back or does she get replaced at the DMV.

Craig even put it up at Reapersite. They haven't really moved on to anything that would prevent them from coming back to Reaper. It's been mostly guest or pilot stuff. And I think Michele was just calling them the demon neighbors for recognition. Since according to Ray they seem to be writing as if this may be the final season, I'm hoping for a heaven/hell sequence, and one that would keep Steve an angel. |

Episode titles and everything! The pics are great. Lots of the trio sitting around tables, but man I love the roaring drunk one. And the spear! Awesome spear. And does Bret look a little skinnier to you or has it just been that long since I've seen these guys? AAAAARRRRGGGHHHH I MISS THIS SHOW SO MUCH!!!!! And no El Diablo?

Oh yeah, I was going to point that out. It looks a little blonder doesn't it? I swear he would be the perfect sex symbol image for the CW if they would just give him a sexy photoshoot and market it. They want young female viewers to watch Reaper? Bret's talents are being wasted.
