This is seriously what popped into my head when seeing that pic: The Devil: Hee-hee-hee. Sam doesn't want to be my son, so I'll make him jealous with this hobo I cleaned up from the street!Sam: "Duuude. You're tall." Do I see another Reaper Comic here? And hah! I can see Sam being jealous of that! Especially if he starts hitting on Andi. He's almost a Greg-type. I wonder if Morgan is the only Devil Spawn (assuming Sam isn't). I don't know why I get the impression that technically, the Devil would have children teeming out the walls. Maybe Morgan will take us to a new support group for abandoned Devil Spawn?

My eyes! My eyes! Well, since it's official, I guess it's okay to look.
I actually like the idea that the Devil would pull a fast one and introduce Sam to his son one day. Morgan looks great, all polished and smarmy like Dad. Wonder what that tells us about Sam.

My eyes! My eyes! Well, since it's official, I guess it's okay to look. I'm sorry, I tried. Honestly. At least be comforted with the fact they're still a TON of spoilers out there, and people are saying this isn't even a major one. I don't know why I find it so hilarious that if Sam *is* the Devil's son too, he's gotta be the black sheep of the family. I have to agree with what cko was saying in spoilers when she found out about this. This is the Devil we're talking about. Something's fishy. Even if they did suddenly announce that Sam was devil spawn also, dollars to donuts there's more to the story. That loop-hole thing. The Devil's good with his language.

The first TVGuide one was a new one for me. Sock's new stepsister sounds cool and I'm excited about this surprising brand new journey that the soul sends Sam on.

Hahaha. Kristin finally fixed her post, clarifying she was only speculating about Sam-being-the-Devil's-son, so I can put the whole thing up 'cuz I thought it was funny: Hahaha, "mated with an Amazonian basketball player". We also used to call Voldemort the Dork Lard, so I keep reading "Dark Lord" as that too. (And to clarify, Kristin originally put up that it was a pic of "the Devil's two sons meeting" which is why I freaked out, edited it here, then posted a wtf? message on her blog, then finally gave in and sent in an email. I mean, crimineys, what a screw up to make!)

Normally, I'd put this in "Cast in Other Roles" since it's an interview with Armie Hammer about playing Billy Graham, but this tidbit's in it: Yeah, *that* should surprise no one. Snerk.

Per Variety, Armie Hammer will play the Devil's son for a 5 episode arc.

RRRRRrrrrow. Good Lord, but he's frighteningly good-looking. I'm pretty much just echoing everyone else, but the reactions of the three in that one picture are epic.
MORGAN: *gleam!* DEVIL: Ha! You'll always be the beta son. SAM: WTF is he so much taller?
I have no idea what to say in terms of actual resemblance/ skillful casting. Harrison and Wise look a lot alike to me, way more than the new kid, but that maybe just because I've been comparing the two of them for so much longer. Looking at Morgan reminds me of that Onion AV writer who described Ray Wise's great skill at making 'a strong handshake and blandly All-American good looks' the expression of bottomless evil, so I wonder if that's the look the show was going for.
...Or maybe they just want a piece of the Supernatural-dominated "brothers having disturbingly hot relationship" fanfiction pie, I'm not a mind-reader. On a final note, looks like the Devil's affinity for fake-bake is shared by at least one of his offspring.

Maybe the two don't look so much alike because Morgan will turn out to not be the Devil's son.
I don't think he's the Devil's son, at least. Didn't someone from the show say how Morgan is what you "think" the Devil's son would be like? That doesn't necessarily mean he is. Methinks they're trying to trick us.

Or the Devil is trying to trick Sam, get his mind off of thinking Sam could be the son.

I don't want Sam to be the Devil's son he is too nice. I wonder how Sam thinkink he's the Devil's son will impact his relationship with his parents who he still loves. I think the Devil is playing mind games with Sam and he can't have children at all.

Oh, pending, onyourmark had the same suspicion, which led us into the "half-cest" spec. The less said about that the better, I guess.
Like most of you, I think there is more--or possibly less--going on with all of this than is being said. Not that I know what I mean by that. Gah! How much longer must we wait?

Ha! "Half-cest" is my favorite word now. Though I disagree with you on that "less said" part. I think people should say lots about it, and in the near future, I intend to.

Some interesting news from Ray: Well...happy to see that most of the questions will be answered this season, but not so happy to see that the writers are kinda writing to 'end' it, presuming there will be no more episodes. How sad was it to read Ray had heard they were canceled earlier the same day the CW later picked them up? However, really cool that we'll be seeing more of 'hellish' stuff. And: That's a new one to me. Interesting.

Wrapping up the show? That sucks, especially if they do manage to get picked up again, they'll be in a bind to come up with more stories after resolving the big questions too quickly. I guess if I had to choose though, I would rather have most things resolved in case it does get cancelled, but still...I'm torn. It sounds like it's going to be an action packed season, I just hope people tune in.

That sucks, especially if they do manage to get picked up again, they'll be in a bind to come up with more stories after resolving the big questions too quickly. I doubt it would really be that much of a problem coming up with more stories. They gave an interview last year that they had ideas for each season, so it'd probably just be a 'wrap up' of S2 which could serve as an ender for the show. That was pretty much how Buffy always ended its seasons.

Comicmix interviews Ray. More details on the hell stuff: Heh. I wonder if they'll follow the Hierarchy of Hell I researched when I was writing A Game of Chess.

These aren't official releases, but I'm gonna post them here anyways since they're not really spoilery, but interesting. Filming pics from kinnigirl. She put them up from when they filmed in her neighborhood!

I won't say it if I do, but I'm trying to remember which spoilers we've seen might relate to these scenes. They are cool. Looks like there's a makeshift tent in one? I love it when they have outdoor scenes. Looks like for once it's not pouring rain, like they complained about in the Season One commentary.

Thanks touchofevil, who let us know the CW's got a new promo out with a bit of Reaper in it:
"Did you at least get a hooker in Reno?"

Whew, I feel relieved again. This damn fandom: worry, relief, worry, relief....Hey, at least Reaper is in there. And, I actually feel curious about a few of those other shows. I know, I'm too easy.

I think it's funny that they picked the one comment that harks back to the premiere, where Sock assured Sam's dad that they'd go to Reno and kill some hookers for Sam's 21st birthday.

That was Vegas, blue . But yeah, nice to see some Reaper in a new promo, only wish there had been a bit more. Sam's horrified look at the Devil's comment is priceless though. Same old Sam, I miss him so.

Thank God they'll have an answer by the end of the season, I'm sure they're aware of the odds of a season three. I hope they don't leave us with a cliffhanger just in case (it's okay obviously if they know they will be renewed by then).

Since this has already been reported, I'm gonna put Matt's lastest Mega Minute here. WARNING: There are spoilers for other shows. In a nutshell, Michelle Farakas said they really wanted Jessica Stroup back for S2, but couldn't get her due to her 90210 obligations. There's also a little bit about Sock and his new step-sister, but again, nothing that hasn't already been reported.
