He's on SVU right now, and I friggin' MISSED it because I wasn't paying attention! It's during the part now where his main scenes are pretty much done. How could I have missed the voice? ARGH.

Oh! Hilarious. Ask the Flying Monkey. Apparently Bret was on a awesome friendly MTV soap called Undressed. Must. Find. Out. More.

I like how in that afterElton article they refer to the actors as "now-famous celebrities" and "many have gone on to big careers." And how often the "handsome cast" was undressed. And Marc Blucas of Buffy fame! And others. Intriguing! And potentially awesome.

I guess there's no rule against double posting. So, here is the screencap of Bret from The OC that I keep meaning to make into an icon saying something like "Yeah this shirt is ugly but soon I'll have my own show." Just because...well, the shirt is ugly. And the whole thing isn't very flattering. But still, endearing. And yay! I figured out how to get the pic in!

That's an adorable pic. What a smile. And yes, double post away. We have very lenient mods.

I agree he does look like a dork in that picture, which is all for the better because I'm the weird girl whose ideal guy is a dork or a geek. So yeah I find him looking like a dork, oh so very cute.

You're not weird (unless I am too). The dorky puppy thing is totally my type and Bret's got it going on.

Oooo, I much prefer Bret on Reaper. (also, imo, he wears a pair of jeans so incredibly well that any role in which he wears jeans is somehow brilliant)

I am watching Bret on That 70s Show right now. Needless to say, I will never complain about Sam Oliver's hair again. My word.

Holy crap! Bret gives 2 interviews, and uh...gotta say, warning for episode spoilers. Beware. SCIFIwire.comCliqueClackThe first is in interview format and is far more detail; the second not so much. In fact, the second article warns you that spoilers will follow.

DAMMIT! They're showing Bret's SVU episode, and I have to leave during the middle of it!
And heeee he *is* Sam. Damn, he is so young. This is the one Michele and Tara found out about him. ;D

Great big news about Bret! From The Hollywood Reporter:This has me very excited, I hope it gets picked up. The premise is clever, but more than that, I loved the buddy potential that Bret has in his characters and the idea of him doing another buddy comedy is very appealing. Congrats to him and best of luck with it.

Wow! I've been wondering and wondering why we haven't heard more from and about Bret. This'll be something to follow. Wonder who the other guy is going to be: lawyer in his 40s? Buddy pair with Bret? Any guesses?

Any guesses? I guess they'll be casting for it if they do a pilot. CBS though, that's big league right now when it comes to comedies. It will be great to see him on a major network (more pressure to get big ratings though). If they make it to air it will then have to survive against sitcoms that pull 10 million viewers. Maybe you ought to start gearing up now for your next campaign. ;D

Some more media mentions for Bret's comedy project. It's listed here on this trade site as being in development this week (still untitled): And here in an article on multicamera comedies in THR with a quote: Now is there someone who can explain to me (beyond the obvious) from a production and viewer standpoint what the difference is between a singlecamera and multicamera show?

I don't think there is a big difference for the viewer between single and multi-camera comedies. I certainly don't watch a show and think, "wow, that's some great writing and acting; if only they shot it with a different number of cameras!"
Multi-camera gives a little more editing flexibility, if I understand it correctly. There's a lot about production that I don't know, so I'll let someone else weigh in on that.

Any guesses? Hi. I am sooo pissed that REAPER has been removed from the CWTV.COM Lounge. Another way to vent and talk about not giving up hope on the revival of REAPER. Now I decided to take a peak on the DMV and see that Brett and Ray are on new shows. I am very happy that they are successful with getting a job, and also Tyler, BUT...... are WE NOW GIVING UP AND IS THERE NO HOPE IN A FUTURE FOR REAPER? Sadly, I am not going to watch their new shows even though they are wonderful. I am realistic enough to know that actors move on, and shows do not last forever. I just can't let go. What a whooz I am.
