Maybe Bayliss got it because he's a recapper? Jacob is a Network Moderator who has been there since the beginning of time. He's probably #2 to Strega, now that Sars, Wing Chun, and Glark are gone. And with Strega as a non-poster, then Jacob is probably by default #1 at TWoP. He's even more important than Miss Alli at this point. That's pretty depressing. Means there's pretty much no recourse but to leave. I'll be posting there a lot less if at all from here on out. I'd like to stay on there long enough to invite new Reaper forum visitors to this board assuming we get new people once season two starts. |

Pace have you tried talking to any of the other mods about Bayliss' conduct with you? I know it sounds really lame, but...it might help to have another mod hear your story...

Unfortunately, random, all that will do is get her either warned again or banned. They don't listen. And they pretty much tell you not to, right there in their own FAQ. "Take your warning and learn from it." Unfortunately for them, we're learning something else other than what they think they're trying to tell us. |

I think it was cool to invite Barnes; we did it in all sincerity, and had considered that there might be aspects that would be awkward for her. It's also fine if she decides she can't participate here because of that.
I also agree the TWoP bitter stuff is declining, but it is still an issue with many of us, and is an ongoing problem, as recent events attest.
I'm thinking once we get the Drop TWoP site up, we can eliminate that thread, and also the one I accidentally posted in under the General Board. We can't do anything about the URL, but that's a minor issue, especially as the name Reaper DMV gets more established.

I wish we could change the name too, even have a new address that automatically directs people to this one, but I understand if it can't be done since we're not really paying for any of this.
Yeah, I know tattling about a mod issue to another mod is a bad idea. They have to support one another and the more you complain (or even ask politely for an explanation) the quicker you are to being banned. I would estimate I have one strike left, so I'm going to quit posting for a while and hold on as long as I can to those PM privileges. Even Barnes said she understood Bayliss' actions and she's the most understanding mod on TwoP. I wouldn't stand a chance pursuing this no matter how heavy handed I think it was.

And the fun continues. At least this time, it was a note instead of a warning. That's because it was Roxy. Bayliss would have banned my ass for this and once again for the life of me I don't know what the big deal is behind what I said. The discussion (in the Life of Mars forum) was whether Lisa Bonet deserved to be as panned as she's been:

Oh for heaven's sake! That is ridiculous. How is "disagreeing" any better than "not getting it"? It's nuts. Yeah I've been posting over there a lot at Buffy, and of course the Reaper thread, and occasionally get a feeling of worry. Which is silly. And you're such a loyal viewer (or whatever level you're at, stalker?) and considerate poster. Sigh.

The thing is, the LoM fandom is as small as Reaper. I feel like they need me there and it bums me out when I get intimidated from posting.

So believe it or not, this is funny. Hostile16 (great screenname, yeah?) from the TWoP Buffy MM explains it best: I agree with one poster who said the funniest quote is “You know what’s weird?
