Hey, ksite, nice to see you here. Yeah, we wanted a place with fewer...ummm...restrictions than TWoP, and as you can see we're making the most (?) of our new-found freedom. And fyi Stinger, it's not shirtless Bret Harrison that turns people awesomely awesomely awesomely gay... it's Bret's treasure trail. Sheesh, get it right. So many new things to learn, always. Also... Stinger, oym, maybe this awesome awesome thing has run its course? But I don't have the heart to change it myself. And it is an awesome icon. ETA: I'm going to ask, somewhere else, about the quote tags thing. I can't get it right. |

Hey K! I wouldn't really sweat it about Reapersite, since there really *isn't* anything going on show-wise. In the meantime, it's one of the best places to grab photos.

Is this the place to post this? The link from Lost in Flight to the Ray Wise promos worked great at TWOP. Couple people have commented. But it's loandbehold and LTL, who already know about here. It's still a good strategy, I think.

Howdy. Just wanted to say that I got both PM I was sent about this site at TWoP so I am here. Good idea to create another site as TWoP is fickle and could ban you for spelling errors at any time. Yeah, lets just say IgnaMom wasn't my original TWoP name (and no I did not get banned for spelling errors but I know that they can get picky about that there)

Hooray! glad you came. Sorry I missed you, I'm usually in late. Please keep coming back, we have polls, art, episode discussion, pictures, games.
Banning, yeah, it wasn't spelling errors but it wasn't much more than that. The story is around here somewhere. We even have a thread for it, so feel free to go there and tell us your story. The "website" thread is for a separate project related to twop, so check that out.
Mostly we're here to have fun and not be bitter. You'll see a lot of familiar faces, and several versions of Shirtless Sam, so enjoy!

I got banned from TWoP today! I got a warning for defending myself against some people who were talking shit about me and my site, and then I kind of sort of tore into the dumbass they had moderating the Smallville section. I found it incredibly insulting that I couldn't defend myself yet they allow the same troublemakers to return as sockpuppets, and TWoP Tennison's policy on "what is a spoiler and what is not" is driving me crazy. So, I'm not allowed to be there anymore, so it's good this board exists so I can see the Reaper people I like at least. As for the SV stuff... maybe I should just start posting on my own forum more,  . |

There are a lot of cases where people came to TWoP to try and defend themselves, got attacked by the posters, and yet *they* were the ones who got banned. Technically, their 'board on boards' policy also covers other boards, but hey - this is TWoP we're talking about. Inconsistency is king. Especially if you're "snarking" that the other board is somehow inferior to TWoP. I'm happy you've still got here, reapersite. If you want to post any Reaper stuff just do it here and we can put it over in the TWoP thread to let the info out if you'd like. And as tough as it can be, you can always get a new name for the Smallville forum and let some of your friends know - either at ReaperSite or through pm at TWoP. I let others know through LJ. |

Pretty soon it'll be a lot of catty assholes that side with the mods and "Just Tuned In" members that were previously banned. Anyway, we're glad to have you here. |

It's really confusing... apparently if it's in TV Guide or something it's "not a spoiler," even if TV Guide says "OMG SO AND SO DIES!" Episode titles are not considered spoilers either. I thought the world was simpler when "future episode" meant "spoiler" and "already aired" meant "not a spoiler." Back before NBC bought TWOP out, we had Omar who was also the recapper and he was fantastic. I don't think a name change for my Smallville board is in the works, though I do hope people realize it's more than just SV there from the banner. Though the Reaper section doesn't get a lot of posts, which hurts my heart. (Though I do know Bret Harrison has read the site, which is cool, just hope he never saw any of my lecherous comments about his treasure trail) Either way, I think i'll stick to my own forum... and here, of course. And Facebook (PM me if you want any of that) |

Party for reapersite! TwoP's loss is our gain once again. Does anyone know if TwoPBarnes is aware of what happened to our once happy family? I feel like she should know as she was our once friendly mod. It all went downhill when they closed our forum and the arbitrary rules started crashing down on our heads.
But as Blue said, we're here and some of us can still post there (for now) so any news you want posted, we can happily do for you (linking back to our board here of course). I'd like to see every Reaper poster at TwoP end up here and reapersite for their news and talk. I don't use the krypton forum there much, I signed up but maybe it was the layout, I couldn't think of anything to post about. But I do love the reapersite home page for news and pics.
Just so you know reapersite, I did join Tyler's Reaper group on facebook and posted a link to this site and an invitation for folks to join. I joined two Reaper groups and a Bret fangroup over there, is there anywhere else you suggest?
ETA: Okay, this sucks, quick reply now removes all of your paragraph spaces when you post. Must bring this up in the tech thread.

OMG guys I'm like one breath away from being banned now by Bayliss and again for a completely inoccuous remark that I don't get. And his response is rude! We're in the Dollhouse thread, talking about whether its a bad sign or not that Joss has halted production to fix the scripts. After all these posts of people saying that's it, this show is going to suck, I posted this optimistic little post in response to someone who said that rewrites and halts like this happen all the time and its no big deal, it's just that the show is unfairly under a microscope right now:
And this is what Bayliss said to me when he deleted my post and warned me:
Uh, is that what I was doing? Seemed like a pretty friendly discussion until he stepped in. I think he's gunning for me now as one of the few Reaper folks who hasn't been banned yet. It's a shame, because I've been enjoying posting in Dollhouse and Life on Mars forums. I don't even post at Reaper any more, but still he's going to hunt me down like a dog.

And I haven't the slightest idea of how it is "boards on boards". How do you have a discussion with people and not refer to their posts? The board is like this white elephant in the room we're all supposed to pretend doesn't exist for some reason. Refer to the fact that you're posting in a forum and get warned. Refer to someone's post to respond to it and get warned. What exactly is the infraction here and for what???
And we can't just discuss "the show" because it hasn't aired yet. There's no clear way to follow their rules and then to make it worse, they get applied arbitrarily. I can't find anything wrong with my post so there's no point in warning me because it's not like I can learn from this. It changes nothing, I wouldn't have done anything differently because I don't know what I did that was wrong. I wasn't telling anyone what to think, I was just stating my own opinion that I wouldn't hold the stoppage of production against the potential quality of the show. Others are free to do what they like. I can't imagine anyone finding my post provocative.

That's unbelievable, pace. I'm glad I've been avoiding the Dollhouse thread. "Rocking the high horse"? WTF does that even MEAN? I suspect you might be right about him gunning for you, but that is just insane. You're always so nice, and polite, and such a peacemaker.
If you really want to end it all, you could PM him with a nice innocent inquiry. That'd get you banned for sure.
Hmmm, maybe time to get back to the TWoP bitter website project?

We can't assume yet about him modding the Dollhouse forum if it gets one; it's just that he's modding the Sci-Fi basement threads. Which makes his approach even more ridiculous since it's all shows that are long-dead, no-one cares about, haven't even started, or...Reaper and Dr. Horrible.

Maybe Bayliss got it because he's a recapper? Jacob is a Network Moderator who has been there since the beginning of time. He's probably #2 to Strega, now that Sars, Wing Chun, and Glark are gone. And with Strega as a non-poster, then Jacob is probably by default #1 at TWoP. He's even more important than Miss Alli at this point. |
