Wow kwy! To go from an anagram maker, which, how neat is that? to all this mythology, is just fun and fantastic. Lot to think about. And anything that mentions Bosch is cool by me. Scary and unsettling, but cool.

The Emotialial Spectrum of Reaper
There is a thread at Television without Pity where personaliy traits are described by the colors of the rainbow and what character fits in the best. I decided to do one for Reaper.
Red: Anger or Rage Nina I love her but I wouldn't want her to be mad at me.
Orange: Greed Sock in spades his behavior in Sweet Science is the best example of this trait
Yellow: Fear Ben So many of his storylines dealth with him overcoming his phobias
Green: Willpower Tony the leader of both demon rebellions
Blue : Hope Steve He proved that demons could be redeemed
Indigo : Compassion Andi She really did try to be nice to everyone
Violet : Love Sam in spades He never stopped loving his father despite the selling of his soul
Black : Death The Devil He's responsible for the deaths of many demons and people thoughout time

Oh, I like this meme which comes from the Green Lantern comics I guess; the ones at TWoP are cool, and yours is too, kathy. Though I'm surprised to see you give Steve a positive attribute! I'll have a go later, but I'm too sleepy right now! Red: Anger or Rage -- Sock, in Season One, when he had to destroy the birdhouse to burn off his emotions. Orange: Greed -- The Devil, he is greedy to inspire evil. Yellow: Fear -- Mrs. Oliver. She's obviously afraid about something, but we never found out what. Green: Willpower -- Nina. She had to use her willpower to suppress her demon nature for love. Blue : Hope -- Sam's hope springs eternal...that he'll find a way to get out of reaping, that Andi will come back, that his Dad is okay. Indigo : Compassion -- Ben, animal and demon lover. Violet : Love -- Mr. Oliver. He got buried, then went to Hell, for his son. Black : Death -- Dawn Ostroff, for killing our show. |

The Devil will be defeated if there is complete peace on Earth so you could blame him for all soldier's deaths. He did murder most of the demons from the first rebellion. Andi and Sam are the only ones who know what a jerk Steve really is so I did the Hope one from a demon's POV.

CK making Dawn Ostroff the Black Lantern was classic. I'm not sure I agree with associating Mr Oliver with Love. He did sell Sam's soul and his tampering of the contract allowed the demons to believe that Sam was the Devil's son. Sam on the other hand never stopped loving him and was willing to do anything to win Andi's love. I almost flip-flopped Sam and Andi for Love and Compassion.

That should have given us our first clue to his Inner Demon. Orange: Greed Ben and Sock, when they found out Sam wouldn't let them keep the six million dollars. Sam's alarm clock never saw them coming. Yellow: Fear The Devil, when he discovered Sam wasn't the pushover he thought, re: the Get out of Hell card for Greg. Green: Willpower Andi. For surviving Sam's Adorable!Eyes, and still knowing the right thing to do was break up with him. Blue : Hope Ted, with his inspirational posters and quotes. Yes, I'm being ironic. Indigo : Compassion Ben. He's never met a pet he didn't adore. Violet : Love Sock. No one loves Sock like Sock does. Black : Death Sam, for stupidly leading the Devil to the Rebellion, and later standing there doing nothing while Morgan was murdered. |

Red: Anger or Rage -- Sam keeps it bottled up but it surfaces once in a while
Orange: Greed -- one of 7 cardinal sins (and hence Devil's tools)
Yellow: Fear -- Ben was afraid of Nina (and flying) at first but got over it
Green: Willpower -- Sam lacked it before he started working for the Devil
Blue : Hope -- it dies last so Sam kept trying to get out of deal with the Devil
Indigo : Compassion -- Nina was afraid Ben would get hurt trying to fight horny demons
Violet : Love -- even demons need it
Black : Death -- die in sin -> go to Hell
