Thanks, pacejunkie for answering my questions. And major thanks for explaining the karma thing to me (I was really confused) and exalting me. Maybe now my luck will get better. .

Hey, I'm liking the site and I think you guys are doing an awesome job. But as I am a technophobe and kinda slow on this sorta thing I was wondering if I could ask for some help. Is there is away to click on a thread and return to the last post you read or do I have to adjust the cookies on my computer (which I also don't know how to do)? I hate to say this, but unless there's a new post in the thread, then I think the closest you'll get is just clicking on the last page and scrolling down.

Ok then, I'll just do that. Thanks.

Quick semi-problem with the spoiler board; I followed the link from TWoP (not signed in) and hit the password protection front page of the spoiler board. It occured to me that if you're unfamiliar with this board, that can be a real pain, and sort of limits the recruiting potential. Anyway we can make that easier on visitors without dropping the protections?

Oh good point. Yeah, we can either link to the main page instead of the spoiler page and trust people to figure out where to go for the spoiler, or the better way might be to tell people the password in your post when you provide the link. It's no big secret, it's just there to protect the unspoiled, but anyone who doesn't want to read the spoiler won't click the link. So take your pick.

Good idea: if you see somebody putting up spoiler links without giving the password, chime in with it and mention that it's just a website precaution, rather than a 'members only' thing. I do kind of like the 'broken circle' thing, very speak-easy.

I forgot to mention that if you want the password changed, I can always do that. I was just trying to be clever - a circle keeps the Devil out, so a broken circle means he can see in....

I made a mistake. I made a post in the Meet Market and it said to put in a name but I didn't understand what it meant so I named 1, thinking I could go back and edited once I found out what it was, but it turns out I wasn't logged in when I did so, so now it says that 1 posted it when it was actually me. Can it be deleted and put on as one of my posts? I feel so ditzy right now.

You can copy the text and log in and paste it again in a new entry. I'll see if I can delete the post, but if you log back in as that person you can use the delete button in the upper right of the post. No big deal if not.

Ok thanks. I'll just copy and paste. It said I was a guest when I posted it so I don't know if I can log back in as that. The internet confuses me sometimes.

To let everyone know, we are on server 58 on proboards, which went down briefly tonight. You can tell our server by our address: reapertwop.proboards58.com
If there is ever a problem again, just keep checking back. Proboards is usually pretty fast at fixing things.

SUCCESS!!! I added some reaper icons to the board's default avatar list, for some of us less techy people. Just click on your profile name, hit "modify profile" and choose the avatar you want!

ETA That came out great! good selection, and you got the artist names in there, too. I love this idea.

Not sure if this is a side effect of the smileys change, but I just tried to do a quick reply using multiple quote tags and when I posted it removed the spaces between the text and the tags and scrunched the whole post together. I had to then go back and modify to put the spaces back in above and below the quotes.
ETA: Okay yeah, MAJOR problem with quick reply. I use that little box more than reply because its quick obviously. But now it removes all of the paragraph spaces you put in when you hit post. You then have to hit modify and remember where your spaces were and put them back in. Kind of makes quick reply useless. This happened at the same time as the smiley change so maybe its connected.

Pace, I'm not having any of those problems with Quick Reply. If you can tell me a time you'll be on again for a few minutes, PM me or hit me up in chat (yeah, yeah, I know you don't like it!) and I'll try to troubleshoot with you.
