Damn. I didn't remember Reaper had so many product placements there. I totally forgot the Polaroid and Nerf Gun counted too.

Fun poll! I don't remember the hair dryer. I'll have to look that up.
Would the Polaroid be a product placement, though? Hadn't they gone out of business at that point? (much to the regret of my friends who used to do Polaroid art). And I don't know why I was surprised recently to see a promotional deal for Toyota in the show credits. Funny, since they're not all that complimentary about it (comparing it to Sock's Caddy).
Oops topic. I chose Winston because he brought out the best in Ben, but almost the taser because it brought out the badass in Sam.

HA!! That was why I chose the Tasar! I love when he took it out of the box and goes, "A Tasar! Finally I can do some damage!"

Hee, when I saw "Monster Truck" I forgot what that one was about, and was immediately "What what what? When did I miss that!" Because when I hear Monster Truck, I think of the murdering racist truck of the GREATEST Supernatural episode ever. I thought for a moment that there had been a similar moment in Reaper, and forgot all about the little toy truck.

Sock: "So that happened."

The squish of the truck set me off in side splitting laughter. Perfect comic timing and their reactions made it even better. All that build up and then crunch.

I voted for the toaster because it reminded me of Ghostbuster goodness.

This isn't worth its own poll probably, but my vote for Worst Vessel is the bubbles--so silly and fumbly for Sam to try to dip the wand and try to blow. (Unless you like silly and fumbly, I guess.) Cool ultimate effect, though.

Man, it was a tie for me between the Taser, the spear gun, the Scythe, or the Nerf Gun, and all for different reasons! Haha. In the end, though, I chose the scythe. Hey, Alex, how'd you escape the vessel?? I wanna escape too!!

Josh, Alex..."Escaped" should mean you are actually logged in; "locked in vessel" means offline. But josh, if you're on and it says "locked in"...I don't know why! I'll have to catch you sometime when you're on to see.

The Scythe was brilliant, great angle on it transforming from a pole, gave it that Lightsaber-esque feel. Plus, being that Sam is a reaper it makes sense for him to have a Scythe (Grimreaper reference).

Absolutely Scythe, awesome, cool, and shiny. This time the Devil is smart about choosing the scythe, or not that smart. (Andi saw it! )

Do you think he chose something big and flashy so that Andi would see it, maybe? I always wondered about that scene in the sex shop, where The Devil sounds all put out about Andi learning the secret. It's almost too over the top, like he's pretending to be outraged but really I wouldn't be surprised if he wanted her to find out to make things complicated for Sam and earn that favour from him.

Ooooh. I may have to rewatch this one to see. I think this is the episode I've seen the fewest times, anyway. And I do love the scythe as well.

The brilliant thing about that episode was that Sam really had no clue how to use it (like with the other vessels) and it was brilliant that Andi did find out, though her reactions to finding out the truth were bizarrely irrational and rational at the same time, I mean how the heck do you cope with seeing the person you love chop someones head off and then explain to you that he's a bounty hunter for Satan? pure genius.

Had to choose between the scythe and the 8 track. Scythe won, of course. But the 8 track managed to get me obsessed with Radar Love for months on end, and I even tinkered with my dad's old 8 track in the garage.

I love how things like the scythe, the taser, and the spear gun let Sam wield them in a really badass way. Rowr. But there will always be a special place in my heart for the Dirt Devil. I love how Gladys had a laugh about how Sam must be a dumbass if The Devil gave him a little vacuum cleaner for a vessel. And that part where they had to wait for the Dirt Devil to recharge and they were just sitting there in the Work Bench all frustrated as elevator music played in the background. That cracked me up so much the first time I saw it.
And there's just something almost poetic about The Devil giving you a Dirt Devil. Heehee.

I loved the taser. because it was the first real weapon that he got as a vessel.
