Thanks for keeping us up to date on Supernatural, Kali. I guess I'd better not watch spoilers if I haven't seen the show at all yet. Someday...

i'm feeling so conflicted over this season. I kinda wish I could stop watching it.

I loved the season 5 finale. If you chop off the last couple seconds of it, it would have been an excellent series finale. I just adore the irony of Dean being the one to get the "normal" life in the end, since that was what Sam had wanted at the very beginning. (Although, to be honest, I don't know how long Dean can realistically stand normalcy!)
Except this isn't a series finale as it almost had been, but a season finale, making me way too antsy for the fall. Was that Sam standing outside the house? If so, how did he get there? And how the heck are they going to top an arc about the apocalypse? (I really don't want answers yet, since I'm an extreme spoilerphobe. But still. Aaah. *antsy*)

I'm also doubtful that they can top season 5. I wouldn't have been mad at all if that season was its last year, because the finale had a very "full circle" feel, and trying to drag the show out more than it probably needs to be is worrisome. I'm trying to optimistic--who knows, the new season could surprise us with its awesomeness--but still, I don't want a mediocre sixth season tarnishing my love for the show... And I like your theory about God being the one to release Sam! Guess we'll see if its true come September.
