TVGuide mentioned a possible comic book, but Nick has mentioned a possible animated series. All the more opportunity for us to prove our rabid fandomness and keep working for something better in the future. Keep in mind though, none of this is CONFIRMED. Doin't count our chickens before they hatch. KEEP WORKING!!!!!!

I'm not really interested in a comic to be honest. That really only works well in the reverse (comic->tv show) An animated series could be good, but it seems like on the whole that most american cartoons end up pretty kiddie in the end. Last thing I want to see is Reaper the cartoon network show.

Last thing I want to see is Reaper the cartoon network show. My opinion at this point is this: I'm for it since it keeps the show alive and gives us more of a chance to show our rabid fandomness, possibly resulting in getting the show back. I'm also not against it, mainly because I haven't seen it and have no information about it. If it comes out and it totally stinks, I will revise my opinion then. There is *always* the option to stop watching/participating/buying, but not if there's nothing to watch/participate/buy to begin with. Besides, I used to be totally addicted to the X-Men comics, and yeah....uh, some cartoons that shall remain nameless at this point because they are simply too embarrassing to admit to.

Hi and thanks for contacting CW 27.
The passion and support for Reaper has been nothing short of sensational and is worthy of recognition. For this reason I wanted to contact you personally to let you know how sorry I am that Reaper was not picked up in first run syndication. Please understand that as you did your part, we did ours in making every possible effort to bring this show back. Unfortunately in the end the studio could not make the numbers work even with our agreement to air Reaper each weekend.
Thanks for your support and your feedback.

cwolf@cbs.comno mention of a comic or animated series That was really nice of Mr. Wolf to contact us again. Make sure to thank him, jonny. Probably we should thank *anyone* who took the time to write us back, particularly the CW affiliates from last month.

Maybe I'm biased, but I love the idea of a Reaper comic. XD
I mean, as much as I love the original incarnation of the show, what I really want is for the storyline to continue, to get answers and -- gasp -- closure, so if the only feasible way to get that is through an official comic/cartoon, then I'm all for it. I actually think this could be just as good as the show, since it already has a comicy feel, anyway.
And, like it's been said, it could eventually bring the show back itself, so why not? It'll at least keep the fandom alive.
