This aired tonight. I forgot how much I liked it. Dennis was amazing, I hope they bring him back, he's a great multipurpose demon and he and Gladys are like a couple of aging hippies together. They have great chemistry.
I still think Sam's so sexy the way he says "Kill Greg?" in the last bar scene. He's so confident I love that. It's always my favourite thing (next to him freaking out and this episode had that too -- twice) when he gets one over on The Devil. I love when he beats him at his own game. I never really liked the Sara green card subplot, but overall this was a very good ep.

Funny how I prefer to watch the episodes on regular TV. Old fashioned I guess. This ep had ups and downs--I still don't get how Greg's id turned into a chainsaw killer, and the whole "she really loves me" part. Plus like pace says, the Sara deal. Except tonight I realize that Sara reminds me of my (here we go again) ex's new girlfriend, so that gave me some fiendish enjoyment, and I promise that's the last time I'll mention that.
But, Sam is the best in this one. Hot locker violence, manning-up to Gladys (who demons-up right back), dropping the bigass knife, and the end-game in the bar. Confident Sam is awesome, and possibly in both senses of the word.
And since I was initially confused about the "if she really loves him" logic, I missed the sweetness of the scene in the backroom before they get attacked. He was darling trying to ask her if she loves him, and Andi cute admitting she does. Amazing that two very attractive and no doubt always-been popular people can play so shy and believable. I now have a major crush on Missy.
Dennis: "The boss can do lots of whacked-out crap. He can trick almost anybody and anything. But he's got no dominion over the human heart, bro. The Devil can't undo true love."

I think its their immaturity that gives them the dork factor, because really they are both way too good looking to be your average nerds. They are both playing the nonpopular types and they pull it off by acting like preteens half the time. I remember the early episode where Andi gives Sam a birthday present covered in pretty little stickers and says not to open it in front of her because she has gift anxiety. That is so twelve. They're a bit emotionally stunted and that's what makes them more cute than hot.

I've been trying to put together a music video, which necessitates some semi-legal downloading (not my fault iTunes files don't work with the crappy software!) and discovered I got my hands on a pre-Missy pilot. It is soooo weird watching a different actress in all the exact same scenes.

I'd like to see the eppy too, pending. Confident Sam is awesome, and possibly in both senses of the word. Heh. I almost missed that. OYM and Stinger would be proud.

Hmmmm... Let me try something with megauploads. Will hopefully update with a link.
Update: Okay, I [think] I've got it uploaded, and I gave the episode its own thread so people can talk about it without getting pilot talk all over this thread.

sigh moving from the thread I started by mistake. Me at TWoP: and RandomNation: Great scene stargazing at the end. Bret looks like James Dean!

Ahh, this is so true, I never thought of it this way. That is one thing about Sam, he seems clueless in some ways, but he's actually a quick thinker, good in a crisis, and a decent communicator most of the time.
