And a Sam & Andi clip that I haven't seen... but I admit I don't like watching preview clips because I'd rather wait for the episodes themselves: www.youtube.com/watch?v=KVGK3bx_o40

The Bret interview was great. I can't wait for the Sweet Science. I loved Eric Palladino on ER. I want to know why Ben is dating a demon. I expected Sock to do sonething like that. Darn, try to put in a good day's work, and suddenly there are a million posts and links! The "Jana" promo was fun, the Sam and Andi one waaaay puzzling (though it did kind of clear up the mystery about the letter, the firing, and the eviction), and I agree, kathy, that Bret interview is darling. Love his giggle. But why did no-one warn me that it had Jason C., my sworn enemy? And OH I totally disagree that Morgan is the "better-looking brother." Bret is looking awesome, and I like that he looks a little older? Thanks especially Blue and reapersite for all the awesome research, posting, and linking! It's only making my heart grow fonder for the show.

Cross-posted from the Bret thread: Holy crap! Bret gives 2 interviews, and uh...gotta say, warning for episode spoilers. Beware. SCIFIwire.comCliqueClackThe first is in interview format and is far more detail; the second not so much. In fact, the second article warns you that spoilers will follow.

Hee hee, the Trib staff's just bitter because they knows what it's like to work for the Devil (and they're still paying his legal fees) so they don't want to watch a show about it.
I'm losing my fear for the bad reviews, because they all seem to be cribbing from the same sheet: "Look at Chuck! It totally stepped up its game 2nd season!" Well, that didn't improve its ratings, did it. None of you are mentioning that, or the fact that I already heard all I could about "Chuck and Reaper! Compare/Contrast!" LAST season, all season long. Enough already.
Okay, I need to know: is there one guy who writes the review and everyone just modifies their version of it, or do they actually distribute a checklist of points for each reviewer to cover? "Hmm, mentioned Chuck.... Bad ratings... Ray Wise... Bitched about Sam/Andi... Just have to talk about how I'm sure the show will be cancelled soon and I'm done!"

Hey, Oscar Wilde did say the only thing worse than being talked about is not being talked about, right?

I admire you all for keeping up--and I'm personally intrigued by that Marxist reading--but I have decided to (new favorite word, I've been using it in reference to The Dating) eschew any more articles or reviews until after the premiere. It's starting to feel like the BSG TWoP boards (imagine!)--too much information.
*takes a relaxing sigh*

I wonder if that's baby Stevie. I also wonder if that storyline gives us the background for Sam's history, considering he was also adopted by a demon daddy.

I'm in favor of any storyline that takes focus away from Sock and Kristin. I think Nina is more attractive than Kristin. Yeah Tony is back! I wonder if this experience will inspire him to adopt Stevie?

Ha, I hope Nina will be a bit like Anya from Buffy, with her lack of understanding of human ways. It could be funny. I don't like her better than Kristen, though. Kristen has a cute Hello Kitty appeal that I don't mind, even though I don't like the storyline at all. However, I've been doing an informal poll among several non diehard fans who seem to like Kristen and find the Sock/stepsister subplot to be funny. So if it appeals to the casual fan (who we do need, after all) then I'm going to learn to live with it.

I think I'm gonna like Nina more because she was actually hired to do something, as opposed to Kristen, whose only purpose is to prance around and act inappropriately with her "big brother". <gag>
