Great comment by interestingname over at TWoP, really captures the episode:
And the classic quote from Stinger, which I appreciate because with this episode I was also confused by the Soul of the Week story:
And from me, after rewatch:
Oh, and the awesome Aaron Douglas as Devilivery Guy, Sam slipping and sliding, and Andi's prank on Ted.
I gasped like a tool when Dad ripped a page out and burned it. What the heck is his motivation for that move?
My man Devil made an alarming point when he talked about how it usually ends poorly for mortals who cross his path. I can't say I mind when it comes to the parents - they're the ones who got us into all this, after all. But Ben and Sock! I wonder if he's referring only to the danger of chasing souls, or the temptations into evil that surround him.
That convo at the end sort of pained me, because I've been waiting for him to fess up to Andi, but at least now we've a different reason for it, and a far less stupid one. A future note though, always confirm slutty twin stories!
I am really enjoying this, I have got to say.

I'm not sure if it's because I'm trying to do homework while the episode is running, but I often have a hard time following the actual story and plot of the Soul of the Week. So the blob was actually the father of the someone and uh, the blob was killing people because, um, yea. See? I can't remember what actually went down with that whole thing or why it went down. But again, that's probably because I'm not able to pay attention. Not that I don't want to!

The scenes between Sam and his Dad were a lot more intense than I remembered, even before the contract-burning scene. The Devil is a lot more dire, and Sam's predicament really gets grim, with the threat to Andi. And the way Sock's hair, the front part is all brushed forward, is hilarious! He looks like an Ewok or that weird computerized bear that talks (?).
