A minor, overarching disclaimer: I'm a little bit fluish right now, and hopped up on cold meds. So...keep that in mind for just about anything I say.

So...my fanfiction MO, that you may or may not notice, is that anything I write ends up including at least two of the following:

a) Angst
b) Philosophy shamelessly ripped off from much smarter writers than I
c) Peripheral characters who didn't even last half the season in central roles
d) Slash
e) Slashy porn

In fact, slash is...kinda the main, only thing I write. I swear, one of these days, I'll get around to writing a nice bit of gen that doesn't involve anyone getting naked except for plot reasons, and also, doesn't involve me going on weird tangents about the meaning of existence. But for the time being, some fic that I am only a little bit embarrassed about:

Yay, varcinie, thanks for the links! Makes it so much easier to re-read, which I have been doing on occasion.

As you can see, we talk about a lot more than Reaper...and we're doing the Fanfic Inspiration thread, and the mythology thread I mentioned if I ever get that up, probably later today.

By the way, Act of Kindness is one of my fave fics ever. And I need some help on the threesome thing, so I will be checking that out. (Umm, I mean, for something I'm writing.)

Yes, well, I read it, and.................oh, what? I'll have to see if it helps with mine, which is only 2/3 slash and 1/3--gosh, how to say it, is this a gap in fanfic terminology? Anyway, don't be too intrigued, it's been several months in the making. Maybe now I'll be inspired to finish it.

Heh. "Het", perhaps? You brave, brave soul. I've never ventured that far into the heterosexual relationship realms in fanfic, and have that is my eternal shame.

Is that for a dirty reason, or just...because?

It's Sock/Ben/Marlena, so two guys and a girl (but no pizza place--Nathan Fillion reference for you Firefly fans).

The word thing is because we wanted other names in the info box on the main board, so those words convert to Reapers and Souls...and the awesomely awesomely is due to Stinger and onyourmark pranking the word filter.

Yeah, I know that makes no sense. Just know, it's not you going insane.

Yes, you can too say member and staff. It only changes them in the "Search Last 30 Posts". So if you don't use that particular search function then staff and member all you want.

Oh, varcinie, I just re-read Perfect, and was reminded how much I loved this story. The kitchen scene, the teasing and supportiveness, the Steve&Tony relationship...so so great. And like I said in my original comment over there, you manage to bring the love and the sexy between them.

Aww, thank you! I'll admit that I always feel a little awkward crossing the line into Steve/Tony being sexy; as odd as it sounds, I always feel like I'm intruding on them a little. Which is why I usually have Sam there, as a buffer (in one way or another )
