Rick was in a 2007 movie called What We Do is Secret about the LA punk band The Germs. Didn't get much publicity I guess, but Rick looks cool; he plays -- wait, what! Pat Smear??? Guitarist with the Foo Fighters? By the way, the original drummer of The Germs was Belinda Carlisle, later of the Go-Gos.  |

By chance, watching Pride and Glory (2008), and Rick is in it! He plays a drug lord (I think) and has a major intimidation scene with Colin Farrell, and really holds his own--which is saying a lot because Colin really chews the scenery.  Not a very good film, which is surprising because it also stars Edward Norton, Jon Voight, and Noah Emmerich. |

Not film, but Rick gets on Castle! (as commemorated by evilalex in the Other TV thread). He was great--fast-talking and hilarious. As blue pointed out, lotta exposition but really well done. And, I found out in the Castle chatroom at CastleTV, which is a nice fansite, by the way, that Rick is on Twitter, so I started following him and told him that we still loved him here at ReaperDMV, and here was his reply! officialrickg: @ccatko thanx for the support! Someone did a pretty good, pretty funny youtube video, "20 Inspirational Speeches in 2 Minutes" and Rick is one of them! In there with Mel Gibson, Lord of the Rings, Rudy...I'm guessing it's from Coach Carter, and in a movie filled, I'm sure, with inspirational speeches, it's cool that he got in there.
He's at around 1:25!
