Hey guys, I just realized that all this stuff we have about Tyler is under a thread title for one movie that was only discussed in the first two posts. Maybe we should think about different threads from here on out for movie projects, interviews and other things so people can more easily find what they want to discuss.

Either that, or more generic thread titles so everything is lumped together? Depends how much info and discussion we think we'll have for whomever.

Not quite Blue. I thought from your title that Tyler's movie had been picked up for distribution. Nope, Warner Bros. just picked up another film with the same title.

Apparently Tyler has a small part in Kevin Smith's new move, Zack and Miri Make a Porno? (I'm guessing it's small because his role is "Drunk Customer.") Some comments at imdb were that his performance really stood out, though. Also, it seems that Tyler himself may post there. Not sure if this link will work to the correct post....

I guess there's a blog for everything. Hairboutique.com has a feature on Male Hair from Hell, and it features Sock! Actually the blog seems to confuse Sock with Tyler. And mentions Ben/Rick but doesn't go into any detail. Does seem to have information on Ben's full name that I don't remember seeing anywhere. (Benjamine Casper Perez Gonzales?) Plus, warnings for major typos and loud ads.

Interesting retort from Tyler as a comment on that story at EndOfShow about Sons of Tucson. Some good info about Reaper there if you pick through the fact that he's responding to another commenter who irked him.

We all should thank that commenter. If that's really Tyler I guess all he needed to finally speak-up was somebody getting on his nerves... hehe.

So on the midseason pickup of Sons, i was wondering if it was related to Reaper's up-in-the-air situation. Here's Kristin at EOnline talking with the "Fox bosses":

Here's Tyler's latest Facebook post. He seems oddly glum about the potential budget for a syndicated version of Reaper, which goes against what we've heard that there would be no budget cuts and that ABC Studios is dedicated to continuing the show and NOT on a shoestring as he implies. Hmmm.
I for one would rather watch the show struggle in another season, even though I don't think it would. If anything I think it'd do better without network interference, and Nick C.(and blue sunflower) says the same. We'll see how this plays out!

If anything I think it'd do better without network interference, and Nick C.(and blue sunflower) says the same. We'll see how this plays out! Uh....Debbie Downer, much Tyler? Sheesh. Has he not seen *any* syndication show, let alone his own? Exactly what pray tell would Reaper have to cut in terms of budget? Reaper doesn't really *do* anything. Unless you count, oh say, the 30-odd car explosions, which I'm pretty sure don't cost as much. No way does the CW's version of Reaper cost more than Legend of the Seeker, or for that matter - Stargate or any of the Star Trek franchises. Besides, I'm betting that with the CW, they cut the budget already when they picked it up for midseason. So I'll go with Nick's version of the budget concerns. It makes more sense, and I'm pretty sure he has a closer ear to ABC than Tyler does. I have to say though, that I find it interesting that *Tyler* is the only one out of everybody, who seems to be all "let Reaper go, let Reaper go, there's no chance at all" Hmmm. Particularly given recent reports from Nick C., as well as the tidbits we've gleaned from the CW affiliate responses. Although, to be fair, I guess it's possible he's still stung by the "smackdown" he said the CW gave him after he posted that one "Season Three Looking Good" post of his. But still. Tyler's not the only one employed by the show, y'know. One would think at least the thought of saving *their* jobs might motivate him to be a bit more positive.

Not too surprising, I guess. I've been wondering what was up with this show; haven't heard anything about it until now. I don't have high hopes, but I probably will give it a try for Tyler's sake. I think it's going to suffer from too close a name to Sons of Anarchy, which is a critics' favorite. Hey, Ron Perlman is in that show!

They've put it in a nice cushy slot though (after The Simpsons, before Family Guy), so it may get a pickup for season two.

News from Tyler at his Facebook Fan Page, which I assume people can view, but here's an excerpt: "I am at the bi annual TCA's "Television Critics Association" right now. I'm sitting in my room and needed to talk to my peeps. Tomorrow is the official critical launch of my new show "Sons of Tucson". What that means is, it's judgement day. I'm throwing myself to the wolves for the sake of my newest creative endeavour. Imagine 1000 TV journalists just waiting to compare my new character to SOCK and probably not in a very nice way. I'm hoping I created a completely new character while still giving you guys the "thing" you soooooo luckily seem to enjoy about my acting. This show is goooood, I really am proud of it. I miss Reaper like a crazy bastard kicking a crack habit but the tremors have subsided and a new pride is kicking in. When something you love is gone, you have to get over it. Right? So, fingers crossed for a unanimous glowing review of the new show." I'm following the TCA doings on Twitter; Jenny is also showing up tomorrow, presumably to promote her new show, so I'll let you all know if there is news.

From Twitterers at the Television Critics' Association meeting, about Tyler and his new show. That last one is a little weird. And, this interchange between TV writer @televisionary and some other tweeter: Nice there are people out there still talking about Reaper.

So Tim Goodman, our local TV critic and long time supporter of Reaper, just panned Tyler's new show, though he does seem to like Tyler. Or as he put it: "Condolences to Fox on yet another DOA sitcom in "Sons Of Tucson." Ugh. bit.ly/c2crrC."

I just saw the News Today. Poor Tyler =p I just re-watched all the Episodes of Reaper This week, and recalled how mad i was this time last year =p I think alot of fans who KNEW who Tyler was, was from Reaper didn't watch just because they were mad at him for giving in to soon. I know that was the case with me.

I think people didn't watch the show because Tyler's character on Sons of Tucson was unlikable. Sock was also hateful during the second season so people didn't want to follow him to another show.
