Aack, so good but kind of creepy and sad (the kids) and funny (Sam, being Sam) and bahaha, the Devil is a huge pushover. It makes it even funnier that he's so much of a pushover at this point that he can't even let Sam know he's getting his way again.

Just running in to repeat what I said at LJ--when the HELL did you do this, after we talked? You're amazing. Here you were all pretending it was only a half-baked idea. "But it doesn't hang TOGETHER! There's no big IDEA!" I'll copy my comment here, too, for the benefit of those who don't go to LJ.

No, cko. There is NO Big Idea. There are only itty bitty scenes.  This one's a conglomorate of several that I finally managed to figure out how to write into something more than a line or two. When did you do this? And...I had no idea this is where you were headed. Okay: --Great twist to use a sold-his-soul human rather than escaped soul. Gives so much more leeway. --You addressed the "Sam gets blipped around" issue! --As always, a little funny, sweet, and... "That earned a chuckle. 'I bought him a year or two before you were born.'
'So then, around the same time you bought me.'
'Yes, that was a very prolific year.'" ...chilling. I was gonna go WTH did you post this? Because it's not on my LJ. Then I found it on my Reaperfic post. hehe. And yeah, I think Sam's gonna grow with his powers, and of course the Devil will take advantage of that. I kinda see him as a hard knocks teacher - like my dad. He won't actually teach you anything, but he'll put you in the situation where you're forced to learn. I've been thinking lately that maybe that's one of the reasons he's always leaving Sam in odd places - other than it being highly amusing to watch him mope that is.  Yeah, but this *is* the Devil we're talking about. I can't see him always with the mini-evils of the world, and I can't see him keeping Sam away from them either. Which is why I find it fascinating that Sam is capable of handling it, doing his job for the Devil, and *still* figuring out a way to make the situation better for the humans involved - without getting his ass fried by his boss. I do so love this fact. I'm so willing to bet that in the Devil's eyes (and heck, probably everyone else's too), he spoils Sam rotten. |

I only have half a screen, no cd-rom player, and I just noticed yesterday the casing's all cracked. Plus, I need my laptop to show my students youtube videos. There are only so many classes I can bore them straight with only my voice for two hours. ;D Buy you *may* be in luck, since I forgot to pick up the box today. |

Spoilers: Not really. There is one mention of a new character introduced in 2x01 A New Hope, but no real details.
Disclaimer: I wish I owned this show. Desperately. It would already be renewed. For now though, I guess I'll have to settle for this fic.
Summary: It was springtime and the flowers were blooming, although Sam couldn't really see them in the dark.

Hey Blue, I began reading your stories this week and I really liked "The Plan In Action" and "A Game of Chess". You really have a great talent there.
Now, I thought Sam "became a man" with Cady (who was supposedly going to be the Devil's daughter), but I have to agree that since that story went nowhere, I'd gladly let the Ministry of Truth (a la "1984") discard that story and use yours. Cady just never existed, or at least she was never Sam's boyfriend. Period.
Keep up the good work, now I'll take a look at the others.
