What are typical chat hours, mah nizzles? I'm about to give up and leave the DMV altogether again, man. Why do you think you see me lurking around lately? people are in the forum, but they're not in the chat!? WRY!? Real-time, baby. Real-time.
Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 10- 10:50, I usually IM meatball and yell at her for not being on. Then later she tries to text me and I yell at her for talking to me... but anyway I guess Lecture+ComputerLab just don't equal student-attentiveness. So that's when I would be on the DMV Breakroom without fail.
I've only had a session with Meatball and Blue. And that was a big awesomely gay mess.

...Nah, I'm a totally hypocrite. Once the holidays roll around and I'm back in chat I'm going to hook you all up with the family Spice Cake recipe.
Work smarter not harder. Now I just need to get a smaller laptop for my Mac to bully.

Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 10- 10:50... Might be a bit later than that. Typical times we seem to be active are around 9-midnight Pacific, and Sundays a bit earlier than that. I am however, expecting chat to explode immediately after the first episode of S2 airs on the east coast. |

weasel, yeah, 10 am your time is (I think) 8 am my time, at which point in the day I am barely conscious. But if I can figure out how to chat from my work computer, I'll look for you. Oh, pending, I always suspected you were a Daughter of the American Revolution. Whoa. And now this is reminding me of last Thanksgiving at TWoP, where ksm, kaitlin and I were exchanging recipes, with KSiteCraig, Stinger, and Pending chiming in. Damn that was almost a year ago. ETA: Monday I was getting that No! Java blah blah message when I tried to get into Chat, but I was able to do it today. So it might be a weird variable thing. [/computerese]

There's a small grey bar at the bottom. It's underneath all the little icons. Try clicking your cursor on that. Sometimes you need to activate the blinking cursor.

I know I can't get chat to work in Firefox, only in IE7 if that has anything to do with it.

I usually don't have problems with Firefox, but I did tonight. So I used Safari. If you do have a problem with one browser, it can work to try another. At the office, Explorer didn't work but Firefox does! Who knows why.
