I've been wanting to do this for a while, so you can help! Which Reaper Character are You? Quiz. You've seen these before, but here's an example. What you can do: 1) Come up with questions and answers that match the Reaper characters. 2) Help find a quiz-making tool/site to post it. (I've already checked out OKCupid and BuddyTV.com but they're just so-so.) Questions Blue and I came up with so far: "What are you likely to have for breakfast?" "You're running late to work, and..." (We have answers to this one but I'll post those later.) The only slight problem is, if we all make it, there might not be anyone to take it. But in my experience, people love these! Good way to promote the show and fandom. |

Quizilla? Back when I was good at this I could have just whipped up a code for it and we wouldn't have to worry about ads-- although again with our "free hosting that doesn't disappear randomly" problem-- but alas. Which characters are we covering in the quiz, anyway?

Yeah, but if we go too far in the other direction then we're just subjectively assigning characteristics and it stops being a What Reaper Character Are You? quiz and becomes a What Fanfiction Speculation That We Are Writing About Reaper Characters Are You? quiz.
Besides, fandom quizzes are fun inside-jokes for all fans of the source material to laugh over, not tools for plumbing the dark depths of our subconscious.

I curse BuddyTV. I got suckered into taking one of those quizzes and it wouldn't give me my results until I signed up and created a whole profile on its networking site. Then even after I did all that the profile was so cluttered I couldn't figure out how to find my results, so I did it all for nothing. Since then I refuse to take any more of those BuddyTV quizzes. If we do this, please don't use a tool that requires registration.

Oh, I so want to do this, too. But...yes, focus. Let's just try to get one done. BTW, from the many such quizzes I've done, every question doesn't have to cover every character. There's some complicated arithmetic algorithm they use. I hope not too complicated. I agree on the registration thing, Pace, and anyway those BuddyTV "make your own" quizzes suck.

Well it's nice to know some other fan went through the trouble. I had the idea originally because I didn't like the BuddyTV quizzes. Believe it or not, I'm still working on "ours"--along with my other half-finished projects--but this helps motivate. Maybe I'll shoot for the new season, timing-wise.

I really hope in S2 they don't forget about the fact Ben almost became a priest. That's the one thing that's kinda disappointing about the show - that they don't address much of the religious aspect of it.

Oops, okay!
For Andi, it's quite a stable game. Yea, the stability thing.
For Ben, it's a play on history, and well, being well read.
With the Devil, football is a rough game, and people get hurt a lot in it.
Softball seems perfect for Josie, cause it's a game where both genders can play together (only one I could think of, besides soccer. Be happy to add or change some)
Sam plays video games a lot, so that's why I chose that for him.
And Marbles for Sock because you barely move for marbles.

Chess maybe? Or checkers? Chinese checkers? And here I was thinking it was hockey.  Boxing too. Oh - and Risk, but I'm not sure he has the patience for it. Softball's perfect, but I can also see her kickin' ass in that boys-only version, baseball. But to be fair, I really wanted to say that Andi would be kickass in these games too. Also - football. She'd tackle you where you stood.  I so wanna say powderpuff football here, but I doubt he'd ever volunteer for it. Sam's a sidelines kid as far as sidelines will take him. Even Sock gets more into the game. Totally. I think he'd just like the pretty rocks. He'd also love those kids games too, like Chutes and Ladders |

I think the Devil will go for Muai Thai or known as Pradal Seirei. Well, Wiki them. They are perhaps the world's most dangerous martial art. Knock-out by elbow/knee strikes and deaths are not unknown. I just read a cambodian magazine. I think Sam will do Catching the Soul game under force. |

Oh, I'm so glad we have this thread! because I'm trying to do a Which Reaper Character are You at Facebook. Yeah, those annoying things that take up your whole page. Anyway, still thinking it's a good way to promote the show. Okay, not so much the questions, but the descriptions. Here's what I have so far.
Sam, Reluctant Hero You are Sam. Your parents sold your Soul to the Devil, who might be your real father. Sucks, but you deal with it by having great friends, a hot sometimes-girlfriend, a dead-end job, and being good at Guitar Hero. Oh, and sending escaped souls back to hell using a variety of kick-ass Vessels, including a hand grenade, taser, and Dirt Devil. You are sweet, sexy, and sometimes scary; you drive a Prius and may have telekinetic powers. You might rid the world of Evil, or be the cause of the destruction of humankind.
Suggestions for others? I think the above is about the right length, or should be shorter. Funny how so much changes in a new season, I'm thinking this time the answers should be Sam, the Devil, Ben, Sock, Andi, and Nina. Maybe Zombie Dad to be funny. Weigh in! But it's gotta be quick, I think I should complete it in a day or so.
