New trailer for Half Blood Prince, will be showing in theaters when Watchmen comes out. I'm only linking, but hopefully it'll be up on youtube soon, and we can embed, because it's worth it. Gorgeous!

Tonight we watched The Hulk (?) and though I love Edward Norton like crazy, and he was great in it, I have to say that movie was a disappointment. Except...the ending? What? Is the next one going to be a crossover with Iron Man? RDJ and Edward Norton in the same film...be still my heart.

Iron Man is getting a sequel first, Hulk is not but then the two will team up in The Avengers movie which will also feature Captain America, Thor and other Marvel heroes. That's the one to watch for but it's a few years away. They need to establish the other characters first and Iron Man 2 comes out April 2010. Avengers is considered the third part of that trilogy.
At first I was afraid Norton would pass on it since he had some major creative differences with Marvel over the cut of his film (I was hoping for the Norton cut on the DVD but no luck). He left in a state but rumour has it he's signed on for Avengers so I get to see the chemical combination of Downey and Norton explode my screen. Fantasy casting I would never have believed possible.

Ahh, I get it. And I just remembered, it was Samuel L. Jackson came on at the end of Iron Man, laying groundwork for the sequel. Yeah, nothing could be better than Robert Downey Jr and Edward Norton together. Unless you'd also throw in Gary Oldman.

Oooh, pace, thanks for that link. Lots of movies to look forward to. So, Watchmen. Amazing movie! Best opening credits ever. Fantastic characters, beautiful look, verrry violent and brutal, but also touching and funny. Tons and tons of cultural tropes. Three hours just flew by; I could have watched more. Gritty but also fantastical. How hard was it to fit in scenes on Mars with scenes from a prison, and have it flow so well? Highly highly recommended. She was only in for a bit, but she kissed a nurse at the end of WWII. Silhouette!

I totally forgot about this forum! sorry guys and gals =[ You've got a lot of catchin' up to do, man. And this confirms cko's magic powers, she was just mentioning you last night. I'd mock you since the vid just came out, like, two days ago, but as a Harry Potter fan, I really don't have a leg to stand on myself.

I think JJ really did something fabulous there. And casting Zachary Quinto as Spock was sheer genius. I can't wait for this.

Oh pace, let us know how it is. I've seen the previews, and RDJ looks great in it. Not sure the storyline appeals to me; I do actually like Jamie Foxx as an actor, but not sure about that role.

Saw The Soloist today. RDJ was fabulous of course, I've never known him to not be fabulous. He gives a speech towards the end where I just wanted to reach into the screen and hug him. Vulnerability is such a turn on. *ahem* Anyway, good movie too. Really takes you out of your comfort zone and gets you to think about the plight of the homeless and the mentally ill. Sad. I also liked that there was no Hollywood fairy tale ending, it ended very realistically.

AHHHH!!!! That picture is gorgeous!!! He has amazing hair, oh yes! Thanks for that, I hadn't seen it. They've only just started filming, I can't believe they released a pic already. *counts the days until May 7, 2010*
Saw Wolverine (for Dom I should say). It was actually better than I expected, about the same as the other X-Men films (the first two I mean, which were both good, not great). I liked all the mutants and the story worked for me. Of course Bradley was my favourite mutant, he rocked. Shame he won't get his own spin-off. Since leaving Lost two years ago I've seen Dom act in all of two brief guest appearances (Chuck and X-Men). He really needs to work a little harder for his fans. I miss him so. And he got great reviews for such a small part. Nearly every review of the movie mentions him and how good he was. I hope this leads to other things for him.

I really enjoyed it. Characters were great, awesome effects, perfect backstories. I got a little mixed up with the whole time travel deal but that didn't matter. Yeah maybe the connections and call-backs were a touch forced at times, but that didn't matter either. Fun ride, and you have this giggly sense, knowing how they're all going to become friends and have adventures together. Plus, Romulans are kinda hot.

The only thing I loved a bit less than everything else was the Romulan bad guy, because they made him bald he reminded me too much of Shinzon from Nemesis and since that was the last movie it would have been nice to do something totally different visually. Other than that, A+.

New spoilery pics from Iron Man2! Nothing plot spoilery, but it does reveal a cool character's return that we only saw a glimpse of in the first film. Looks like a funny scene too.

Cool shots, but it makes you wonder how they ever get a movie made, everything seems to take so long. Love the suit, and yeah the ultimate Cool Character. RDJ looks fantastic.

it makes you wonder how they ever get a movie made, everything seems to take so long I was in a set once and yeah, it takes a lot of time, especially when they keep re-shooting scenes... hehe The last movie I watched was "Wanted", on my computer. Pretty interesting movie, I must say.
