OMG My loathe list grows by the day. Although to be fair, I added the CW Source months ago. There are no spoilers, since they filmed ALL of these interviews 6 months ago as they were filming Ep. 4 "The Favorite". Plus: the lamest poll ever. I loathe the CW Source.

Kathyk had a good idea to try and get ahold of the zap2it recapper (ryan mcgee). I also sent an email to E! Kristin about the Save One Show, but I don't know if that will get us anywhere. Any other ideas as to who we might be able to contact?

Press Democrat: I'm happy he relikes the show. He had said he was behind because he thought the premiere was underwhelming, and wondered if it was worth it to catch up. I posted a comment about the 3 episodes, and he thanked me and said he'd give Reaper another chance.

Great work, blue, it shows how posting at some of these newspaper-critic sites can be worth it! I posted a comment there too.
I really like his point about Morgan being like a cross between Craig Kilborn and Brendan Fraser. Like Brendan, he's got good looks but doesn't seem to mind looking silly and playing for laughs. I like that.
And...from the "Recruiting" thread, good work also on promo-ing the Email Campaign. I guess that about.com site is a good place to get stuff picked up!

Anthony Langford at afterelton.com does nice coverage of Reaper in his column Gays of our Lives. Cool pic for next episode!

Haven't seen it, don't know if there are spoilers. Doubt it, since it was filmed before episode 4 was complete.

Hey that's a great interview, actually, he comes across as very charming and funny, and he talks enough that he overcomes the egregious Jason C. Nothing spoilery in the least, so you're right, there, blue. No information at all, in fact, except apparently Armie Hammer is not a "stage name" but his real name! Still, good to watch. Great voice and hands.

While this doesn't look good for our show, you can still let the CW know you want Reaper to continue even without them.
feedback@CWTV.com
www.cwtv.com/feedback/comments
Please don't stay silent. They'll never know how much you'd like Reaper to stay if you never tell them. Tom Spezialy's still around, and lots of shows do just fine even after a change in the guards.
Since snail mail campaigns work best, here's the address for Dawn Ostroff at the CW:
Reaper Attn: Dawn Ostroff CW Network 3300 W. Olive Avenue Burbank, CA 91505
Please consider taking a moment to send in a letter or postcard.

Okay, well TVByTheNumbers has now picked it up. You don't need to register to comment. I suggest we flood them with "write the CW" posts to try and get others to join in.
Other places you can comment:
Hollywood Reporter SciFiWire Hey, that's my name Fandomania Awesomely Aloof BuzzHollywood Watchlivestv SpoilerTVTVOMGODIDaemon's TVGossipMooI'm sure Zap2It, TVGuide, EW!, E!Online, CW Source, among most newspapers, will be joining this list shortly. If possible, it's best to get the email campaign at the top of the comments list, since everybody has to read past them in order to get to their later comment. It *is* best to try and get in the front of this. And I don't know what's worse, this comment from Nick, the insider at TVByTheNumbers: Or this article: Fox Leaning Towards 'Dollhouse' RenewalI knew Reaper's fanbase was stable, but 94.7%? Wow.

On sidereel, blue, I registered and posted, no problem, and weasel already posted your thing on the email campaign. The more the better, of course, but we got the basics covered there. Ditto IGN.
I'm posting randomly on the other sites, mostly in your wake, mostly to say "It's too bad people are saying this show is cancelled, keep watching this season and email/write the CW about next season!"

Man, I'm so busy I don't even have time to thank everyone commenting and trying to help out. Will do so, I swear. You have GOT to be kidding me. The CW choses TODAY to roll out its summer programming. Of course, it sucks, and no word on Reaper. On the "looking at the sunny side no matte how dark and dismal it is" I will chose to look at the fact that Reaper's last episode is still referred to as the SEASON finale, and not the series finale. Other places we can still keep commenting on: io9 - very irritated I missed the first page of this, they have a lot of Reaper fans there TV.comFilmfodderSlice of SciFi

Something occurred to me watching the credits tonight and I just wanted to point this out in the hopes it may calm the hysteria over Fazekas and Butters leaving. The following is a list of the executive producers, producers and other types involved in running the show:
Series Produced by Tara Butters .... executive producer (23 episodes, 2007-2009) Michele Fazekas .... executive producer (23 episodes, 2007-2009) Joseph Patrick Finn .... producer (23 episodes, 2007-2009) Mark Gordon .... executive producer (23 episodes, 2007-2009) Deborah Spera .... executive producer (23 episodes, 2007-2009) Tom Spezialy .... executive producer (23 episodes, 2007-2009) Jeff Vlaming .... supervising producer (22 episodes, 2007-2009) Thomas Schnauz .... co-producer / producer (20 episodes, 2007-2009) Jason Parks .... associate producer (18 episodes, 2007-2008) Kevin Murphy .... consulting producer (17 episodes, 2007-2008) Kevin Etten .... supervising producer (13 episodes, 2008-2009) David Babcock .... co-executive producer (12 episodes, 2007-2008) Peter Lauer .... producer (12 episodes, 2007-2008) Chris Dingess .... co-executive producer / consulting producer (10 episodes, 2008-2009) Chris Black .... consulting producer (5 episodes, 2008) John Blair .... associate producer (5 episodes, 2009) Craig DiGregorio .... producer (5 episodes, 2009)
This is not to mention the many many different writers the show has (I counted ten besides F&B). I have to ask myself whether we would notice much of a change were the creators to leave and say, Finn, Spera or Spezialy were promoted to showrunner(s). They have a big production team, they may be able to carry on without any bumps or pauses whatsoever.

Holy crap! I think the show should be trimming that producer list, stat! I say just bump Tom Spezialy to Showrunner, keep the remaining writer's, and lose any producers who don't contribute to the writing process, ie: Mark Gordon, Deborah Spera, etc.. That'd save the show some money for sure.

Some of the execs like Mark Gordon are just suits that don't do anything beyond finance the show. Also, some of them you can see worked on the first season only. But it's still a pretty hefty list and should put our minds at ease. I'm just going to return to worrying about the CW picking up the show for a third season.

I'm just going to return to worrying about the CW picking up the show for a third season. Heh, pace, good for you. Narrow down the worries. I'm banking on the CW realizing they don't have other, better options. And that the show has a devoted if small dedicated fanbase.

ABC Studios, which produces Reaper, is looking for more members for its Advisory Panel. It's a basically a forum, but as a member you have access to extras that they do. The gave a sneak peek of the Reaper Premiere, and currently have activities on the October Road DVD and Legend of the Seeker. They are looking for more people for their under-represented boards, of which Reaper is one. You do need to qualify, and if accepted need to answer some statistics information, but after that you're done. You have full access to the board. If more Reaper lovers join, we can post and represent our show. Maybe we can make a goal of posting once a week or more, just to show we're out there. But hey ~ don't limit yourself to Reaper, they've got tons of other shows too - including Life on Mars, Castle, and Brothers and Sisters. abcstudios.brand-advisor.com/external.svc?page=qualification&qualification_ticket=RAF
